I strongly recommend documenting everything carefully before hiring Northern Moving Systems. Our experience involved a major discrepancy between the estimate we were given, the services we received, and the subsequent resolution process. Northern Moving Systems marketed its virtual estimates as using technology and experience to provide ?precise and detailed estimates? with ?accuracy on each and every quote.? During our virtual walkthrough, we showed the representative our entire home, including rooms, closets, drawers, garage items, wall hangings, and other belongings. We specifically raised concerns about items that weren't furniture and were told they would not materially affect the estimate. We were quoted 724 cubic feet. Our shipment ultimately occupied approximately 1,800 cubic feet, roughly 2.5 times the quoted volume. Our move was a huge one. All of our goods filled up a fifty three foot semi trailer plus a twenty six foot box truck. It took the moving crew two days to get everything packed and loaded. It was truly something to see.And to be honest, I have never seen people work that hard. Our goods arrived in cleveland on the fifth day. They are only allowed to drive 500 miles per day, so that made sense. The unloading went very well. We had a few minuscule broken items, but that can be understood. They provided us where they method to file a claim. Everyone that we dealt with was pleasurable. I promised down that if everything went well where we're going to leave them a stellar review , and this is it. We have no complaints whatsoever. We highly recommend Northern Moving Systems. Absolutely Terrible Experience. Avoid This Company. I would strongly recommend avoiding Northern Moving Systems. Our household furniture was picked up from our home in California on July 1st for our move to Texas. Before booking, we were told the typical delivery timeframe was 5?17 days, allowing for possible weather or mechanical delays. Based on that information, we expected our belongings to arrive within a reasonable window. My husband started calling on day 5 to check on the status of our shipment, and every time we called, no one could tell us where our belongings were or provide an estimated delivery date. We received little to no communication unless we reached out first, and even then, no one seemed to have any answers. Now it?s July 15th, and we were finally informed that our furniture is still sitting in California. To make matters worse, they pushed our delivery window all the way out to July 29th. We were also told that although they make deliveries 7 days a week

This is the second time I’ve hired a moving company and there has never been one so caring like this one. They took ever precaution to make sure my items were transported safely. I’m so thankful for the work they have done for me.

We are sitting in our SC home for a week now with no movers. We are paying $12000 for them to bring our things from NH to SC. When contacted today for a definitive time frame, their reply was , ? Hi Ms. Golden, Per dispatch - still staging at this point trying to get it loaded sometimes this week, they will let the customer know when its in transit , Thx, Diane Not at all helpful. I wouldn?t use this company unless you don?t mind waiting up to 14 business days.
