Vendor never provided service and kept the deposit of 400$

I needed to repair the window that did not open and closed properly. he came and "adjusted" it but when I checked it was still the same. Then he took the springs of the window with him to order new ones. I paid $150 and owed another $75 upon the job completion. This was a month ago and he will not answer phone calls or texts. I feel completely fooled.

Nick did not have his truck and could not take all of the debris but promised to come back early the next working day. Has not come or answered calls.

Nick is the owner who does the work himself. He's a very pleasant and efficient young man and I am pleased to recommend him. The windows he had to repair were about 50 years old and needed TLC. Very likely another company would have walked away from this difficult job.

Quick service, good value for the money, however, very poor customer service tactics. Did not show up on time and was late to inform customer about the delays.

1st, the person called saying they work on Sundays and will be here before our online appointment, that was the first red flag- to charge more money! 2nd, service call was $170, way out of the regular for this kind of job. 3rd, they didn't repair the problem. The door still leaks water. 4th, I called him and told him the problem was never fixed and he said to send him the info so he can verify and go back to check, but one day passed and I had to call him again. This time he said Wednesday that he was going to be here. Today, Friday, two days later in the morning, and guess what? Nothing. He didn't show up! And no calls at all. I will not recommend this business based on my experience with them. UPDATE: 6/19/2018 So I spoke with the person in charge after I filed a complaint with HomeAdvisor and he, on top of all this mess, lied to me saying he told my wife that the job was not for sure to be the remedy of the problem. By the way, the reason why we hired him was to fix the problem and he didn't. I spoke with my wife and she asked him several times if he knew the answer for the problem and he answered yes and that's why we hired him. So, I don't recommend this company at all from my experience.
