Sam Soto, the owner, took the time to explain what he was doing to eradicate the problem, told us what to expect in the next few days, and asked us to schedule a repeat visit within five days. He went up into our attic twice to make sure there were no bees within the house. A set price was given for this service, and we feel the value was excellent. He uses all natural products whenever possible.

First Rate was great. They came the same day I spoke with them and handled my issues imediately. The technician was courteous and a man of his word. He said he would call a couple of days later and he did. I would definitley recommend them.

Sam was extremely responsive and called me only minutes after I submitted my request to ServiceMagic - my first request - and made the process seem really magical. He offered his services. However, we had no specimens to submit and thus told him we would call when we had one. Several days later we caught one of the tiny creatures and put it in plastic bags and left it with our doorman. For $54.19 he picked up the specimen and gave me the answer that afternoon: carpet beetles. He offered to eradicate them. However, since we do not want to spray with any poison, we are not hiring him to do that. They seem to be coming into view less frequently - I think, and he agreed that it was probably not our carpets - all of the tiny creatures were in our kitchen and dining room, one in bathroom may have come in on freshly laundered towels from kitchen - but related to huge construction in apartments on our floor. What we need and still did not get is some way to eradicate these beetles without use of poisonous pesticides. They come occasionally only and I plan to call him again if I see another one.
