ON TIME JOB COMPLETE

I learned that any home improvement project can be more complicated then what is originally planned. I will say the owner, Don, was very good about making sure I was happy with the progress and insuring that all the work done as promised was to a high level. And when there were extras that I wanted he extended a fair price. I would hire his firm again.

He figured out a problem that a previous plumber had made and fixed that as well as the original problem. Top knotch.

We're very satisfied with the work done. The new Delta faucet works great and is a vast improvement over what we had. Everything was handled very professionally and we would definitely hire First Service again.

Nearly perfect across the board. I was completely satisfied with them and would hire them again. Timeliness was the only issue I ran into; the project did not get completed on schedule due to problems on thier part scheduling a worker with the right tasks for a visit.

I was very pleased with the quality of the work, however the cost was a bit more than i had expected.

I was very pleased with the service. Wayne called to let me know he was running late - only 30 minutes - and diagnosed the problem right away. Total repair time took less than an hour.

We felt they were very professional. Should we need a plumber in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to call them.

Dishonest and unprofessional. Very good on-site service but there was a miscommunuication in the office that caused my repairs to be delayed for two days. They corrected that problem by performing the service on a Sat AM. The technician forgot one tool and stated that he would be back the next week to make the final repair. I paid him for the entire job on the understanding that he would be back (my mistake, obviously). After he failed to show up the next week, I called the office several times to find out the status of finalizing the repairs. I was told rudely that they were not coming back out, I got what I paid for, and if I didn't like it, too bad. Again, very unprofessional. Disappointing after the technician seemed so competent and courteous...

The people I spoke to on the phone were very nice and helpful and so was the plumber who came to my house - I was very happy with this company.

First Service did work on 2 bathrooms last summer. At first I was very pleased with the work. However less than a year later the tile in my master suite bathroom is coming up and falling off. When I tried to call the number had been disconnected. Went by the office and the office had been closed. By submitting a bogus request through Service Magic I was called by 1st Service. The owner explained that he had scaled back his business due to family death and illness. He did come by and look at my bathroom and agreed that the work needed to be repaired. Said he would get back to me. It has been two months now and I have called weekly and the owner has not return my calls. I am very disappointed and frustrated with First Service and the own Don Walker. I hesitated in writing this review hoping that Don would do the right thing and repair the work that was not done properly. The work was guarenteed for a year and this August would have been a year. I give mixed reviews because initially the work looked beautiful. One bathroom is fine thus far. Also Don and his crew were polite and good to work with.

The plumber came to our house in a timely manner, assessed the problem and was honest in telling us that, in fact, we didn't have a problem. He didn't charge us anything for coming out. We'll certainly contact him again if we need plumbing done.

Excellent workmanship and great value. We will definetly use them again.

I am a first time homeowner and this is the best experience I've ever had with a repair person. He was honest and explained my plumbing problems so I could understand what's going on. He found the problem and resolved it very quickly.
