I had discovered a large ratsnake entangled/trapped in some garden netting along the edge of my shed. The netting was extremely tight around the snake's body. The more she tried to move, the more entangled she became. The First Solutions technician worked carefully and gently to release the snake, without further traumatizing her, from the entanglement and then took her to be relocated. I greatly appreciated the skill and caring nature of the technician! He also offered a wide range of services that they could/would provide if needed. I would highly recomentd this company for any services reguarding the removal/relocation of reptiles, rodents, small animals, and the treatment of pests and insects. He also came quite a distance, when I was unable to find a local company/service to address the rescue of the snake.

The technician, D'Angelo, was professional, friendly and thorough with quarterly outside spraying and checking and replacing the bait in the rat bait boxes. I appreciated that he explained the work that was performed and completed and if it was to my satisfaction. He advised me to call if there are any problems. Thank you, D'Angelo.

Erick called to say he was running late. Caught in VA traffic. I thought that was very considerate and nice. He made sure to spray the entire perimeter of my home, plus check to see if he could do anything else. Erick was very friendly and professional. Thanks Erick!

I would like to commend Eric on his professionalism and prompt service. He determined that there was a raccoon in my attic, and she had babies. Eric set the trap after the agreement was made, and about 3 days later the mother was caught and moved elsewhere. He and his crew then came in and took away all of the old insulation, sanitized, sealed all openings and laid new insulation. JOB WELL DONE!! Thank you, First Solution, Eric and Crew!!

The men of this service are exceptional, and very professional. they are also prompt and willing to work with you and around your schedule. from the very beginning they were on my problem. Carlos, Daniel and my baby boy D'Angelo are great men to work with. I wish I could get this kind of service from other agencies that I had come out. nothing compares to this First solutions.

Very efficient and did a nice job. They are aggressive and tried to sell me more than I wanted otherwise it was very nice to work with them. They were on time, very polite and knowledgeable. I would use them again.

They were pleasant and started the same day. Very knowledgeable about the mice and roach problem that I am having. They were able to work around my schedule to get the job done. A little pricey but worth the money to know the job is going to get done right the first time.

First Solutions fixed a small issue we had with a woodpecker pecking holes in our house. Carlos was very knowledgable and reviewed our property's needs as our past pest service got bought out and we needed a new service. He suggested things we could do to prevent pests. He wasn't pushy about what we 'should' get. We felt very comfortable using First Solutions in that they know what they are doing.

On Wednesday, November 10, my residential landlord tenants reached out concerning a flea problem in their unit. I immediately solicited quotes from many vendors and First Solution was the one that responded immediately quite conveniently, within minutes of my solicitation. We made arrangements to meet at the property the following afternoon which required me to travel to the property and take off work. This vendor arrived over two and a half hours late, by which time I had to leave for another commitment. By the time the vendor arrived and performed an inspection, after 7:00 p.m., in my absence, and with my tenants understandably anxious to have the property remedied, the First Solutions reported that the entirety of the modest 1100 square foot property would need to be treated at a cost of $2,000. Given the urgency of my tenants situation, the late hour, the inability to solicit competing quotes, and my limited bargaining power under the circumstances, I regrettably acquiesced. My payment was later rejected after my credit card company flagged First Solution as potentially fraudulent. Thereafter, First Solution continued to aggressively demand payment before I could confirm the value of the work they performed. I later learned that these vendors work only took one person about an hour and that the Bed Bug treatment they performed (recall the only problem was fleas) only required the application of two chemicals totaling less than $100 in materials costs. Subsequent research revealed that First Solution competitors would have performed this treatment for significantly less than half of what First Solution charged. I believe that First Solution capitalized on the urgency and necessity of my request and my tenants predicament to leverage an unconscionable fee for their services. I brought my concerns to First Solution and they were unsympathetic. Prior to posting this review, I sent a draft of it to First Solution to confirm that I accurately represented the transaction, and they provided no response. I was taken advantage of--do not make the same mistake.
