Reviews
Write a ReviewAVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! UPDATE: Our insurance company attempted to recover our $1000 deductible, but they were not successful. Net result: We are out $1000 and a hit against our insurance. If they had just done the right thing, this entire review would have gone away. PLEASE know who you are dealing with. That is my advice to you. Fischer moved us on February 29, 2020. They did the following damage: 1.Grove walnut credenza: Leg and support complete broken off. Deep gouge to the top. Dropped the shelves into the stairs. Broke off one of the doors pulls. 2.Storage bed: Lost all the hardware and left unassembled. 3.Sofa cushions soiled. 4.Step stool lost. 5.Peloton exercise bike: Lost one of the feet on the bottom that keeps it level. We paid extra money for insurance, but we have received zero compensation to date. They made a terrible attempt to glue the credenza back together. It is clearly visible. When they returned it, they dropped it into the stairs and damaged the drawers. The large gouge on the top is right in the front. No attempt was made to fix. The Peloton bike is still missing the foot. We have to prop it up with a stack of construction shims to keep it level, but that only works for about 5 minutes. No attempt was made to replace it. They stored the sofa in their warehouse. When delivered, that main body was shrink-wrapped. The cushions were loose and heavily soiled. They were clearly never covered in the warehouse as they are a drastically darker (soiled) than the rest. Oh, and this was just upholstered before the move. No attempt has been made to clean it. We have been sleeping on the floor for over a month. They told us they are not able to get hardware to put it back together. No attempt has been made to make it right. We paid all this money and insured the value of our belongings JUST IN CASE something happened. It was a complete waste of money, and Jeff is now refusing to return my calls.
Easy and smooth. Friendly
Everything promised to me by the office staff was exactly what I experienced with my team of movers. My men were professionals (employees rather than day laborers) who treated my favorite items just as I would have if I were strong enough. Even unloading, the guys were patient as I chose resting spots for my furniture; I appreciated their suggestions and TLC every step of the way.
We used Fischer Van Lines for two moves and storage of furniture between the moves. Service and personnel were excellent. Both moves were accomplished without problems, delays, or damage. We definitely recommend this company and will use them again if needed.
We would use them numerous time.
Thanks Brandon, we love working with you buddy!
