We couldn't be happier with the team at Fisher Windows. From sales to permitting to installation, they were professional, fast, and easy to work with. They were also clearly the best value of the many contractors we spoke with. I'll start this review by saying I know I am a difficult customer. My wife and I bought our apartment six months ago specifically because we loved how many windows it had and how much light they brought in. So we were very nervous when replacing the unit's old broken windows. We discovered early on in the process that window replacement salesmen are an unlikable bunch. We talked to countless companies that use pressure sales tactics and sales-y gimmicks to get you to buy. It took us three months to decide which product we wanted to buy because most salespeople weren't helpful in comparing products. Even once we settled on the product we wanted (the Marvin Essential Line), we discovered another frustration with shopping for windows: the wide range of contractor install prices! We spoke with over a dozen contractors. We also spoke with four Marvin distributors to get a quote on just the product so we could compare install costs. After nearly a month of comparing installers, Fisher Windows came out on top on nearly every metric we cared about. Their salesperson Paul was one of the few salespeople we met who listened to our concerns and was actually responded promptly to our questions. He got us a price quote in just a few days, unlike some of the salespeople that required constant chasing. Jeff was knowledgeable and helpful when he came by to measure our windows. Fisher Windows was also one of the lowest priced installers we spoke with. Their office manager Dennis did a great job of communicating logistics after we decided to buy, walking us through the permitting process and keeping us informed of install times. When it came time to install, the installers (Apaolino and Dominique) were a pleasure to have in our apartment for three days. They were courteous and thoughtful. They took extra care to protect our floors, which we had very recently polished. They handled a tougher than expected install on two of the windows that required extra attention, and they dealt with the challenge of Cambridge parking. In the end, we'd highly recommend Fisher Windows to anyone considering buying replacement windows. In an industry with many unlikable characters, we enjoyed working with everyone at Fisher Windows and are certain we got great value for our dollar. Save yourself the months of comparing installers we did and go straight to Fisher!

Jeff and his team was the only company that did not shy down from the project. It was not easy finding someone that would work with an older home and measurements that are not a traditional size. His team find a solution and we are very happy. (5) Windows and (1) Door

I usually don't write reviews, but we had such a wonderful experience with Jeff and his crew that we feel obligated to share with those who are looking for reliable and quality contractors. Scope of our project: all together 13 windows replaced on an old house, big and small. Pros: 1. Cost-effectiveness: their offer is among the lowest we got with the same type of windows we were looking at; 2. Responsiveness: the team is so responsive! You can always expect a reply within 6 hours maximum. 3. Clear contract: instead of trying to make it sounds complex and difficult, their quote is a one pager list scope of work, and cost per window. I feel that if you are not looking to have different people coming in to do all these different parts, this is all you need to know. 4. Timeliness: This is the FIRST contractor we'd ever worked with that's not late!! 5. Quality of work: AMAZING! We were a bit concerned about the patch up work we'll have to do after the crew finish. But NO. They took our windows out, put new ones in, sealed it and cleaned all of them. The house suddenly looked so nice and bright, but you cannot tell that work had been done on the windows - absolute fine finishing. 6. Professionalism: the crew came in, laid all the cover on our wood floor every step of the way. There was no scratch, and barely any thing to dust afterwards. Cons: NONE. Finding contractors are always a risky game, and we truly feel that we'd scored this time!

Excellent customer service from the sales process, to the communication about prep/next steps, to the guys that came on site to complete the project. Paul was very responsive when it came to evaluating and quoting the project. Jeff was prompt and quick when taking final measures. Dennis provided clear communication regarding invoicing (electronic...same with receipt), permitting, prep. The guys that came on site were punctual, professional, organized/clean and did a great job!! I look forward to hiring Fisher again for my remaining windows. Scope of project - 4 standard double hung windows, 1 casement window, 11 aluminum trim/casing replacements. Harvey Windows were used.

I contacted Jeff Fisher on the recommendation of a friend. Within a few days Jeff came to our house, and after a bit of pleasantries and listening to our particular needs and wants, he had all the windows measured within a half hour. After 25+ years in business, this man knows how to listen and how to measure accurately. The Fisher Windows price was very competitive, and a good price plus a comfortable relationship sealed the deal. Dennis, the project coordinator, was always good-natured and worked behind the scenes to make sure that the work kept rolling efficiently and everything proceeded without a glitch. About a month later our crew, “Polo, Dom and Juan“ pulled up with a truck full of windows. We were having our whole house (34 windows) replaced. Since they would literally be taking over our house, I was feeling a little intimated at what the next few days would bring, but Polo instantly put me at ease. He is such a fun guy, has worked with Jeff for 20+ years and knows the business well. After a few minutes getting to know each other and putting us at ease, the crew set to work. At the end of the day 10 old, drafty windows had been pulled out and 10 new Harvey energy efficient windows were installed. The crew was sensitive to our presence, respectful of our house, and meticulously tidy. It took four days to replace 34 windows and install new exterior shutters. A fantastic experience with Fisher Windows - no more drafts and our house, inside and out, looks amazing. Thank you to all at Fisher Windows!

Fisher Windows was professional from the first contact till the last window was installed. Good quality windows. Good pricing. The install crews were courteous, efficient, non-intrusive, and did a very meticulous job cleaning up at the end of each day. One particular picture window required significant reconstruction of the window frame/sill. The new window looks like it had been there forever [in a good way!] I would highly recommend this company.

We had Fisher Windows come and put new Harvey Replacement Windows in as well as 2 new doors. We are extremely happy with the new windows and doors and the great work this company did for us. From the beginning when we got our estimate to the windows and doors being installed was very prompt. This company has great prices and the workers were very polite and friendly AND the cleanup after the installations honestly did surprise us. When the work was done and the crew left, nothing was out of place and the men didn't leave until everything was vacuumed and spotless. If you're looking for new windows and or doors call Fisher Windows first, you'll be glad you did. We definitely give this company an A+ and will be using them again next spring 2019 for more new doors.

The installers were great! They did an excellent job, took pride in their installation of the windows an cleaned up the job site every night after the days work, and at the end of the job. The project was completed on time and they were were polite, well trained, and knowledgeable. The Harvey Tribute windows are terrific. Jeff Fisher, the office staff and the installers are the BEST!

Fisher Windows is a wonderful company. They responded within minutes of requesting the quote for our new windows and were responsive and timely throughout. The installers were great. They were informative, professional, nice and a pleasure to spend the morning with. The installers helped solve a tricky problem with the brackets on our new blinds and were extremely tidy. Would definitely recommend.

These guys were fantastic to work with. Arrived on time, finished early (!!!), careful, cleaned up after themselves, and are clearly experts. Their per window price was a little above competitors that we got quotes from, but since they didn't tack on a bunch of junk, it ended up about the same. Highly, highly recommend.

Replacing windows in your home can be a stressful and daunting project, but Fisher Windows made this whole process seamless and provided some of the highest quality work and professionalism. Most reasonable estimate by far. Quick turnaround time. Super friendly, professional, and responsive staff. Went above and beyond to accommodate us around the due date of our baby. Couldn't ask for a better experience and would use them again for the rest of our windows.

Fisher Windows was a great company to work with from beginning to end. Timely & reasonable estimate. Windows were ready when they said they would be, installation happened exactly as promised. Crew was prompt, friendly and tidy. Quickly fixed the relatively minor concerns I pointed out & even called me at work to let me know about a small issue with my dog & offered to help out with it.
