With all the rains this summer, I found leaks in several parts of the house. It took me a while to search for a roofing company. My neighbor told me to call Five Boro. Paul came to do the inspection and took videos and pictures of all the damages on the roof and suggested a roof replacement. My roof was very old, and over the years I did hire for touch-ups here and there whenever there was a leak. It took Five Boro 2 1/2 days to work on my roof, they started early in the morning until the sun went down they still work with the light on. During all that time, I got updated with videos and pictures on every step of the way until the job was done. The roof came out beautiful. I would like to extend my thanks to Gia and Paul for their professionalism in all aspects of handling my home roofing job.

they Responded quickly to my home emergency. Cleaned up neatly after they finished. I’m thinking about rehiring them this summer for a project that I have in mind.

we did not get our money worth of work. My roof is still leaking even worse than before. I received some patch work that I was not expecting from five borough remodeling. They sell one thing and give cheap work.

Customer service is great

Great work...will really know once it rains hard. Jon answers all calls and responds immediately. Only had to call to get guys to return to rehang gutters.

Their scheduling is terrible. I have to take off several times waiting for them to come. It took them more than a week to finish a one day job.

Luis arrived for an estimate, and gave me a price I could not refuse. The work was completed in a clean and timely fashion!! He even reinforced an area that I had not hired him for!!! Kudos!!!

Jonathan Nortman is professional. Jesse Mejia is semi-professional. Zachary Parker is un-professional. Almost one year after the roof was repaired by 5 Borough, the roof began to leak. Mr. Nortman played cat and mouse with us for weeks. We decided to hire someone else to re-repair our roof. A most disappointing experience. Buyer beware (caveat emptor)!

I hired these guys for a roof repair and window replacement and from the beginning, they tried to raise the price that they had originally quoted me. I stated that I was not going to pay more than original amount and very suddenly, it was OK with the boss to stick with original price. I asked to see the roof before they installed it but they showed me only after it was installed. Before the job was started I specifically asked not to use fiberglass for my insulation and, sure enough fiberglass is what they used and for days after, it was a nightmare getting rid of all the fiberglass particles from the whole house, having to mop and do laundry constantly. While they working on my roof, they were throwing things off onto the driveway, which I didn't mind, except for the fact that they were very careless and in doing so, they broke one of my sensors for an automatic light and after they tried to fix it a bit, I still had to ask them to remove the broken bulb so that I could replace it. The siding on my home was also damaged and they got some tar residue on it. When I asked them to clean it, they just rubbed it with some acetone and made it worse. When they were done, they left a terrible mess that they didn't come back to clean up, all over my property and in my neighbor's property. There were sharp aluminum shards all over my back yard along with nails and screw everywhere, which I had to clean up myself so that my dogs would not get injured. Towards the end of the project, I am asked for another 200 dollars for unexpected roof work, by Paul the project manager who just seems to pocket it. I had also asked to get a coating of tar on my chimney and in order to access a hard to reach spot on one side of it, they hung a guy off my roof with a rope, and this is after they show me an OSHA card, so they are definitely not safe besides besides their certification. Afterwards, they did not provide my warranty receipts which I am still trying to get since December. I have made contact with them only after constantly and excessively calling them only to be told that it will be delivered and now they have changed their phone number. HOMEOWNERS BEWARE.

Very competent and pleasant ....... Couldn't be happier.

They did a great job and were pretty fast installing the gutters. I thought they also did drain work because they said they would look into it and then I found out later that they did not provide drain services. That was a bit disappointing. The work that they did though was done well. I am happy with the gutter installment.

Problem seems to be resolved; we already had heavy rain. I got three written quotes and theirs was the best. Three companies had the same accreditation, licenses and required insurances. Work was done in one day and they clean up after themselves. Hopefully this is it for another twenty years! There were little things that concerned me but thanks God everything was done as agreed. It is definitely not an easy task to get a good contractor in NYC!

The repairmen were prompt (actually, EARLY!) and they did an excellent job. Their clean up afterwards was also very good.

Jon showed up on time and gave me a very reasonable estimate on my gutter repair. Since the repair was small enough and his crew was on another job nearby he was able to bring one of him men over within an hour and fixed my gutters on the same day. Jon also took a video of my roof and the repairs that were made. We discussed the condition of my roof and I'm certain that when the time come to replace my roof 5 Borough remodelers will definitely be on my list to contact.

I wanna thank jon and paul they were amazing for making the job go great they did so well am doing my siding, gutters, and more with them. If you want good work talk to these guys they can make it happen.
