Five Star Bath, Inc - Livonia

I wanted to thank you for recommending Five Star Bath, Inc - Livonia for our bathroom update! Excellent products and Design Consultant (Kaylee Schiller). We contracted with them to do our bathroom immediately the same day of her visit.

Five Star did a great job. Process was seamless from start to finish. Ver professional.

Had a little difficulty on the installl.-tub to shower conversion. Installation measurements were not per the dimensions of the design (side walls were also completely incorrect , as one side was 30â deep and the other was 35). Not sure how that could go unnoticed. We altered the design to minimize the necessary work, as the project was several days in (and the amount of clean-up that was needed to be done by the homeowner after day two (dust everywhere in everything on the mail floor) we really wanted to minimize any more works days than necessary and by changing the design, it greatly lessened any additional cutting. Drywall repair was needed and it was very difficult to get the company to respond (the drywall repair was done very well by the company they contract with)., Would have expected a small return of the cost based on our accommodations and the missteps of the company.. It does look pretty nice, but there are small signs that the install was not quite as planned.

The installers, John and Isaac, were friendly and courteous and replaced our old shower in a day. They covered the floors from the doorway to the bathroom with drop clothes and were very conscientious about performing their work without trashing the rest of the bathroom. They were in and out in about seven hours and the install looks great and we're very happy with the new shower. The entire process was painless.

Bathtub removed and walk in shower installed. Only hiccup was the curtain rod which wasn't installed until after the tension rod fell twice. Rod wasn't installed at the desired height either but it will work with a shorter curtain.

Job was done with good quality material earlier than originally scheduled. We are pleased with the bath to shower conversion.

This was a tub-to-shower conversion. What an excellent experience! I cannot say enough about the salesman, the person who came out to do the measurements, and the two men who did the teardown and installation. It was a very positive experience, and I could not be happier. I highly recommend this company!

There were some snags. The sales people did a great job, except we weren't initially charged for the down payment. We decided to see how it played out when it came to install. They contacted us the day before\of install to get the right cc#which hadn't been entered correctly. There were a couple of other communication issues and I was left with the impression it was issues with home office. We really loved the installer, Alex. So polite and explained things well! Unfortunately we had to have him come back to fix the kitchen ceiling which had crack from a nail\screw that was somehow pushed through when he was installing the base (?). They were apologetic and timely in the repair. Later we found more protrusions on the wall in the bathroom behind where the ensuite shower was installed. (We did not notify them of the latter.) I love the shower, although the plastic showerhead seems low-grade considering the hefty bill for the whole thing. On the other hand, the shower step ROCKS and the installer (so nice) put one of the shelves up high for my Kindle-watching! He also created alcoves with shelves in them and increase the size of the shower walls so we ended up with a larger shower. If I had to do it again I would've taken more time to decide on the pattern. I love what we chose but it doesn't match the decor of the rest of the room.

Prompt service, cleaned up after themselves, excellent work, and very friendly and polite employees. Dealt with five different employees and all w aimed to please. Shower doors were delayed and employee went to Home Depot and bought a shower curtain and put it up for me to use until doors came in. Paige in the office was so very nice. Andrew was very patient and didnâ t make me feel rushed as I had trouble making up my mind on some selections. Fantastic Company to work with!!. V my husband and I are very happy with the results.
