Wonderful outcome. Knowledgeable. Protected work area superbly. Mess in rest of house was avoided. Worked quickly. Cabinet work is holding up nicely after 8 months from completion. Cost was excellent in comparison to other company bids with excellent results. Very 5 star

They were about a 25% cheaper than big box stores. They were on time down to the minute. They were tidy and kept our home clean. We love our cabinets.

Our project was slated for 5 days...due to errors in ordering, poor craftsmanship, & poor time management our cabinet refacing project lasted over 12 weeks. We could've had the entire kitchen remodeled in that amount of time. Our home had to be professionally cleaned several times due to the dust. They used our garage as a ship and covered everything in dust. The owner, Ricardo (Rick) is a smooth talker and does a great job of putting you at ease up until contract signing. Once your're committed, reality sets in. Rick's eye for detail, professionalism, & overall quality of work is not at all what we thought we'd get for our money.
Response by Five Star Cabinet Refacing: The reface portion of this job took five days to complete. The kitchen was useable for the entire time. We enclosed the kitchen with plastic walls to contain the dust. If dust did escape it was because the family would use the rear door to let the dogs out to do their business several times a day by opening the protective wall. During the project we had to use the garage to cut material as it was raining at the time. We would use a blower to remove the sawdust at the end of each day. It was difficult to clean because it was loaded with material for other projects they had going. At the end of the project I offered to have the home professionally cleaned. The offer was denied. In my agreement I include an arbitration clause for any problems that cannot be resolved through simple conversation. If a customer is unhappy with any part of the project they can withhold part of the final payment until the disagreement can be resolved through arbitration. There are limits to what we can do in retrofit work because not all materials are available to our industry. The problems arose because of custom items ordered. Production shops are not set up for custom work. They tried several times and finally got it right. I told the client that we would make things right and returned several times to replace or touch things up. I assumed that everything was done to the customers satisfaction because I was paid in full. It has been six months since we completed the project so I was surprised to hear that the customer was unhappy. As for being a smooth talker, I'm not sure how to respond. I can't force anyone to do what they don't want to do, especially someone involved in the repair and retrofit business at the management level for a major "Big Box" store. Instead of letting me know what needed to be redone during the project, the customer waited until the last day, as I was doing the final touches, and began yelling at me to "get the h*** out of his home". In the 16 years that I've been doing this type of work nobody has ever spoken to me this way. Since he no longer wanted me in his home I sent my main installer to complete whatever he was unhappy with. As shown by my record, I go out of my way to make sure all of my customers are happy with their kitchens. All I can say is that I do my very best. I offer a 2 year warranty on my work.

They use the same products as the big box store for a fraction of the price. Plus you get the small little detail touches. They were in an out in a little over a week, they clean up everyday, zero dust and the craftsmanship is awesome. My kitchen is absolutely amazing now. Thank you.

Rick and Kelly were a pleasure to work with! They were very informative throughout the process, and Kelly's attention to detail was outstanding! We appreciate all that Rick did to get the products we had chosen into our home. Now our kitchen, two bathrooms and laundry room have been completely transformed! What craftsmanship! We wouldn't hesitate recommending Five Star, Rick and Kelly to any of our friends and family.
