Came out quickly for an estimate which was a reasonable price so approved and the next week the work was begun and finished the following week. I am very happy with the work and final product and would recommend them to anyone.

Communication with the client due to delays and cost were a bit high for a mobile home.

They came out right away and installed the A frame patio cover, which is beautiful and of high quality. They worked with me in making some additions and upgrades to the original quote, and I am pleased with the end result. I look forward to continuing to do business with them!

5 Star Exteriors was fantastic. The crew were professional, courteous and friendly. After each day they cleaned around the house and sweeped for nails. 5 Star Exteriors were by far the least expensive using a quality product and professional service. They did an excellent job, and worked very fast. The removed a metal patio cover and replaced it with a beautiful wood patio cover with gutters, and a composition roof. I could tell the crew was very proud of their work. They wanted to make sure I was happy with everything. I will definitely reach out to them again if I have another job.

They did an excellent job. The only improvement that I suggest would be better communication. I realize your guys are super busy but a quick phone call would have been appreciated when the contractor is going to be late or isn't able to come.

They didnt stay anywhere near the bid everytime I turned around it was $400 for this $650 for that and what really got to me is the flashing. They offered to fix my flashing for $1000 so I said hold the phone because I wanted to call around to check and the man I spoke to said he would do my flashing for $200. In the bid it said it included up to 5 panels of new plywood a week or so later there was a rainstorm. I was informed by my painter that new roofing was put over rotted plywood when I had paid for new plywood. I called 5 Star Exteriors and told them they roofed over a rotten piece of plywood and that they need to come fix it. They said there were really busy and it would be a few months before they could get to me and then they tried to charge me a labor fee. I told them no you will be here this week and you wont charge me anything.

This company worked with us to design a new deck that is exactly what we wanted. We showed them a design from a magazine. We reviewed the first design and it wasn't exactly what we wanted so their designer changed it to our specifications. Due to COVID problems and other hiccups, it took longer than we hoped - six month. But it was a major undertaking; they tore off the old deck and built the new one and it looks like it was part of the original house construction. It is perfect, beautiful and the materials they used are first rate. Their construction crew folks, especially Hector, primary carpenter, were hard working, diligent and very congenial. I do not hesitate to recommend this company!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They told us our siding was asbestos. We hired them to remove it. Later on we learned they did not have a certification and were in violation of removing such material. We are in the process of contacting home advisor about their illegal activity and asking for compensation regarding this. Edger owner of the company is very slick, do not be fooled.

If I could give these people less than one star I would. The whole process was a nightmare from beginning to end. They give us the bid, and then they told us that the workers thought the tear-off was too hard for them, so they wanted to charge us more money. The sales rep who came out to bid the job got into a phone argument with us and was very rude, now we are dealing with our kitchen and bathroom vents not being hooked up and having to deal with their office lady who continues to hang up the phone on us. Horrible service, not worth the money! Do not get yourself into this nightmare! They must themselves, or have friends and family post these 5-star reviews online there is no way they could have gotten a good review from any customer if they had the same kind of experience we did!

Initially, Carlos from 5 Star Exteriors came out to do an estimation of leaking chimney flashing. It quickly became apparent that there was more wrong with my recently purchased home. What I was told as being a roof that should be good for another 5 years, turned out to be close to falling in. Carlos and Edgar came up with a plan to replace the roof, and fix any underlying issues. As a first time homeowner, I was a bit leery of the possibility that I was about to get gouged, due to my lack of knowledge. Carlos quickly put me at ease with his friendly smile, extensive knowledge, and understanding that $$$ was going to play a part in what I could do. His patience in dealing with a somewhat skittish new homeowner was commendable, as he answered questions, and addressed any of the irrelevant and relevant concerns. That I raised, suggesting what options were available, and making his recommendations as to style, color, and materials that his team worked with, and ultimately I settled on a 50-year roof. The initial plan was that the entire roof would be replaced over a span of 3 days, starting at the end of May 2019. Carlos and Edgar showed up at the appointed time on our start date, ready to get things done. Edgar, Carlos, and one of their licensed and expert roofers got to work and started knocking it out. It quickly became apparent that there were some pretty serious issues with the existing roof, which had far outlived its life span, and was essentially layers of shingles, and not much else. Though technically not part of the roof, once they discovered the 100-year-old soffits were mostly just dry rot, they set to work to repair what needed to be fixed, matching the style to what they could salvage, keeping the aesthetics of the original construction as best they could, understanding, and explain that if they did not fix it, eventually I would have to pull the roof off and fix it later. What should have taken 3 days turned into 6. During the entire process, Carlos would update me on, how it was going and addressing any issues that might impact myself (and my neighbors) due to the extended time it was taking for them to finish the job, ensuring that I nor my immediate neighbors were being unduly impacted. Luckily 5star Exteriors only had to deal with inclement weather one day, a real issue here in the NW, but even then, it did not low them down. They finished on the 5th day, however, as they are the professionals that everyone else has stated, Carlos and Edgar ASKED, if it would be ok for them to come back, on Sat to **Make sure everything is cleaned up, and tip-top** ! Sure enough, the next day, the whole crew showed up and started cleaning up any loose ends, making sure no nails, leftover materials, or debris were left to sully the garden beds, lawn, or driveway. In fact, they left my (and my neighbors) driveway cleaner and looking better than when I bought the place. Of the 3 companies I had estimates from, Five Star Exteriors, by FAR, was the most affordable, by several thousands of dollars. That is not even including the unexpected repairs that they ultimately took a hit on. I could not be happier with my roof, and the fantastic work 5 Star Exteriors did. This will be my go-to crew for any upgrades or work I need to do. You COULD ABSOLUTELY DO WORSE at a substantial increase of out-of-pocket or insurance costs. I highly recommend.

I hire five star exteriors to replace my roof. these guys are awesome they did an amazing job. my new roof is the best in the neighborhood. they repaired fascia and dry rot and install a new ventilation system up to code. i choose to install gaf a 50 years roof. clean everyday, show up on time. It took them 3 days to complete the job. not a single nail was left behind. they protected my wife plants whit tarps and plywood. the crew went above and beyond in our opinion! this is a hard-working, professional, and respectful crew. attention to detail was very impressive. they were prompt did an outstanding job and i will definitely have them back for more home improvements.

It was hard to communicate with them. For the most part they were fast and efficient with their work. There was one small area that they didn't extend the fascia to the end of the roof. When we mentioned it they said it was the way it was before they began, but we had pictures to prove otherwise. They never came back to complete the fascia.

Project half finished, poor communication,unknown if they are even capable of completing. Very disappointed. Simple single level home, they were hired to do roof and gutters. Took 2 weeks to get the roof done and gutters still not installed. High end pricing, slow performance, corona beer caps in your yard, still cleaning up nails from the the roof repair...Ya They suck...

This is my second review on Five Star Exteriors. I hired Carlos and Edgar to do my cedar roof replacement in Beaverton. I was very pleased so I hired them for a flat roof replacement on another property. Once again, very good workmanship at a good value. Highly recommend.

I never write reviews, in this case I felt other need to know about Carlos and Edgar. They were professional form the beginning. very responsive and did what they promised. I've been looking to do this project for almost 2 years. They provided great value with exceptional workmanship. They replaced a cedar shake roof with a Presidential asphalt. Highly recommend, as a matter of fact I had them do another flat roof on another property.

We couldn't be happier with our new roof!!!!! It is the best looking roof on the block! In fact our neighbors were commenting out their window...."we're next." I'm sure on their return from vacation will be seeing a new roof across the street. Carlos and his team couldn't have been more professional, very polite gentlemen. Their work ethic was exceptional, so much attention to detail and "doing it the correct way." It is comforting to know they stand behind their product and work. I would recommend this company without any reservation, it was a pleasure having them on our property!
