I had a great experience with Cristian and Travis from Five Star Hardwoods. They were the first to respond when I reached out to several companies for a bid. They made it out to my house in a timely manor and I received a reasonable quote shortly thereafter. They were accomodating and flexible when scheduling the timing of the refinishing. Travis was in charge of sanding and fixing the damaged areas. He was on time and had a great disposition. These guys are doing very hard work... particularly in our case they had to move some very large furniture... and they do it with a great attitude. Cristian is a really nice to work with and he understood exactly what I was looking for as far as the finish and sheen of the wood floors. He clearly takes pride in doing beautiful work. Everything they did exceeded my expectations. We have beautiful wood vent covers in each room now that are flush with the floors and perfectly matching quarter round. The house was cleaned nicely, and Cristian checked in with me after the work was completed to see if we needed some help reassembling a tricky bunk bed that my kids sleep in. Seriously, so impressed and I would highly recommend them!

Cris is very professional and the job is going along just as planned. Travis and Cris work well together and truly enjoy their job. They are skilled craftsmen and the quality of work shows. We anticipate to be complete by the end of the week but I am so confident with them that I am writing this review mid job.

Cris and Rick were amazing. We bought flooring that was not the best of quality and gave on installing it ourselves. We hired Five Star and they did an amazing job in no time. Added trim and were very professional. Excellent clean-up and great customer service.

Cristian's crew, under his direction, did an excellent job in installing my new wood laminate flooring. Cris communicated clearly with me throughout the project, which was very reassuring for me. Also, his price was so affordable! I couldn't resist offering him and his men a cash bonus in thanks for all their hard work and the quality of their work. I would certainly hire Five Star in a heartbeat, and will recommend them to anyone needing new flooring!

Five Star had the best quote, was able to juggle their schedule to meet mine and overall the quality is very good. However there are a few spots that could have been better especially around the edges. I recommend always removing the baseboard. It's a bit more work but the end result will turn out better.

Cris has painted my house inside and out as well as refinishing 2,500 square feet of hardwood flooring. He was incredibly hard working, wonderful to work with and handled all problems that came up as efficiently and as effectively as any contractor I have worked with. He refinished a large, old tile entry to fit with the hardwood floors and instead of paying at least $4,000 to have it pulled out and replaced, he charged me $1,000. I highly recommend him. I would hire Christian/Five Star Hardwood Floor again! Excellent customer service, great value for the money and he did an especially good job on a few floor repairs and on replacing our metal heat floor vents with wood vents to match the floor.

He showed up ontime, gave me the best price (compare to other 3 companies) and finished the project day early making my 47 y.o hardwood floor look like brand new.
