I have used Ken and 5 Star on 3 different occasions, inside and outside and they are always professional and committed to getting the job done.

I thought I had already written this but realized I hadn't. Used Five Star Painting (owner Ken Carter) in Dec. 2018 and would have to rate fair-poor with leanings toward poor. There were many sloppy issues, too many to mention here in entirety but some of them were: - Weather stripping around all doors had a good deal of paint on them. No border tool was used. - Storm door handles had paint on them. - BBQ cover had two large blobs of paint that the painter tried to clean only to smear it worse and never tried to clean it further. - The screen porch steps had paint splatters that were easily visible. - The paint job on the shed was very poor. Pointed this out to the owner and he rationalized that it occurred because the painter was painting in the dark. Until I mentioned, they were not coming back to do the job hired to do. - The painters cleaned the spray machine in the grass and the grass died in this area. The owner said that wouldn' t have happened from the cleaning but yet it did. The grass in that area never grew back. I spoke to the owner about all of these matters and he came back to address but if there had been any oversight maybe all or most could have been avoided. The owner did not stay on the job site during the painting of my house and the person doing the trim work was extremely sloppy and had no oversight. Would not use again or recommend.

The owner Ken was very responsive. After giving me an estimate he was able to start the project the next week. The painting crew was fast and efficient. The price was competitive. My only peeve is that it took a week for the company to deposit the check i wrote as payment. I will probably use them again for other painting projects.

The two gentlemen who did our painting were very courteous and punctual. They did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend them.

I called 5 Star Painting for a quote and the very next day they came and gave me a bid. I was trying to get our house on the market and needed the work done ASAP. Their price was very reasonable. After giving the approval, they had the house done in only a couple of days. They left the work site even cleaner than when they got there. If I need anything else done in the future I would definitely call them again. Highly recommend!!

They did an excellent job , power washing repair and painting the exterior of my house. ken and the guys were in contact through the whole project, anything they did was approved by me first.. I would hire them again if needed.

Ken gave us a really good price to paint the inside of the garage & the outside of the house, including power washing the porch & driveway. Ken also showed up every day that his guys were here & made contact with us which was really nice. The painters did a fantastic job on the painting and power washing & we would recommend them highly to anyone! When we are ready to paint the inside of the house, we are definitely going to call Five Star Painting!
