My initial call was returned in a very prompt manner and they were always on time. Rafael and his painters, Hector and Juan, were very professional. For anyone in the market for exterior/interior painting, I highly recommend Five Star Painting for the project! From the initial consult to the final walk-through, I was extremely impressed with the company. Christian Borbely and team were always professional, friendly, detail oriented and delivered an outstanding exterior paint job. To top it off, they provided this amazing service within a very reasonable budget. In purchasing a short sale, I've had a lot of renovations completed by several different contractors, and by far Five Star Painting is the best that I've ever had the pleasure of working with! Really pleased with the service and professionalism. I was concerned about accidentally hiring someone with some basic tools and a magnet sign on the truck... Five Star erased all those concerns. Great communication, prep, painting and cleanup. I'd highly recommend.

Christian was very likeable. His English is not very good. I only hired him after careful consideration. Plus my wife is fluent in Spanish. I was TOTALLY clear that there was something of a language barrier and I was going to have my wife involved to make sure that instructions were clear. We had a number of issues that were not resolved to my satisfaction. One of the BIG ones is that my agreement states "two finish coats" of paint. This is not complicated. It means that the house gets painted twice. One coat applied and dried. Then a second coat. Christian contended that the stucco absorbed so much paint that he ended up using more paint than he anticipated. That is not even relevant. In conclusion I would say that there are better painters out there, but I knowingly hired one that was less than the best. I certainly did not anticipate such a difficult time in communicating with this one.
