Five Star Painting of Tulsa

Where do I start?! Five star painting? Heck no. They will only get 1 star from me and only because the colors of the house are what I picked out and wanted. Otherwise, they failed in every category possible. We waited years to save up enough money to be able to paint the exterior of our house. Went to the Home & Garden Show to speak to different painting companies. Settled on Five Star Painting after speaking with Trevor and being quoted a price that seemed too good to be true. I shouldve known If communication is important to you, go with someone else. Beyond horrible. We never knew the plan, when the painters would be at the house, what steps would be taking place on the exterior of the house. Zilch. This was extremely frustrating. When we had the estimate meeting with Trevor we believed he would be in charge and the person we would be dealing with. Instead he passed the buck to his stepson, a young 20 something wet behind the ears with ZERO experience, ZERO communication, ZERO no how to help our house be his break in project. This made us and our house project feel less than important and completely irrelevant. Secondly, our house needed lots of work. Paint chipping everywhere and layers of paint and wood that needed to be replaced. We knew this. We also thought Five Star Painting workers would scrape the paint from our house down to the wood, get all the old paint off, have a clean, fresh surface before slapping paint on the boards. Nope! Wrong again. From the street, the house looks great! A showstopper mainly because of the paint colors I chose. Up close, you can see every bit of old paint, paint that is already pulling away with the new paint on top. Paint that will once again start chipping way sooner than it should be. More importantly, the money and time we invested in this project will never last nearly as long as it should have. And that falls on the shoulders of Five Star Painting who didnt take the proper steps. Who chose to do a job improperly, haphazardly, with zero care, zero accountability, total unprofessionalism and total lack of regard for us as homeowners wants and expectations. We were told our yard would be cleaned up. Nope. Paint chips big and small everywhere, pieces of wood that were cut laying all over, rocks workers used to hold down plastic to cover plants moved from there originally homes and just left everywhere. And lastly, if they offer a carpenter by the name of Aaron to do carpentry work Run!!! Hes horrible and someone they referred to us do work on the front porch. He works on his own timetable, doesnt communicate and does piss poor work. I could cut wood and match up corners better than him and Ive never used a table saw. Overall, the colors of our house are just what I wanted. From the street ~ perfection. Up close ~ leaves so much to be desired and it is beyond bad. It makes me sad. Money saved for years and years and this is what we are left with. Definitely not Five Star worthy.

Five Star Painting did a great job painting the inside of my house. They even did drywall repair. They paid attention to detail and they a good deal of time on prep. They were at the job when they were suppose to be and they finished on time. Their bid was reasonably priced and competitive when compared to the other bids I received.

Lori was awsome to work with and they had quality subcontractors!! The drywall was repaired and i finally said go bye to the pop corn ceiling and the mirror wall from the 60s!! Installed lighting with an excellent electrician that 5-star contracted with... there is always the little things but 5-star came back and fixed everything and it's just amazing what lighting and painting can transform the "mancave" into a room everyone including the fur babies can enjoy!! Thanks :)

Five Star Painting painted the outside of our house. They were wonderful. Always on time. Their prep work was fastidious and the final painting was perfect. We are very pleased indeed. Jeff and Trevor along with their crew will not disappoint.
