Five Star Remodeling

The Woods Of Lake Travis HOA within Hudson Bend paid 5-Star a 40% down payment to demo and rebuild our wooden Playscape, May 2023. They were to reuse some materials. After a few weeks post deposit, 5-Star removed the old playscape. The problem now is that they will not return calls, or they give us excuses as to why they will not honor the work. It is now almost December 2023. We have no playscape, and they have our reusable materials. Not happy.

Here is a review of a kitchen reno by Mike Fennell with 5-star remodeling! We paid him quite a bit of money and told him he owes us, as we now have to find someone to redo this mess! It sure seems funny to find one of his posts on this page complaining about someone doing shoddy work on his truck and demanding that they pay up. I wonder if Mike will make this right, being that he expects others to do the right thing. See photos! started I started the kitchen renovation at the very beginning of February (the pictures are from today, 5/10). I never had anyone consistently show up to work in the kitchen. He hired tile subs, whom he never supervised. They cut their hands and bled over the tile, sealed it, and Mike never came to look at it but shared over the phone that he could scrub it out and make it look right. The same tile subfloor let a water line from the fridge leak onto the floor for a day. We had to hire a restoration company to dry out the walls and floor. Mike came out two days later to say that was overkill and he could have fixed it 2 days after the fact! Crown molding upside down! Cabinet frame cutouts are not even Gaps between cabinet frames Notice there are no drilled holes for shelves. No cabinet doors or drawers, despite him working on them for weeks. The cutout for stovetop electrical is too large. The list goes on.

We are so pleased with our new deck! Mike did a fabulous job. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. Without a doubt, we will hire Five Star Remodeling again for other home projects. Great job!!!

Great work, love my bathroom

Mike was Fast and efficient. He saw the problem and knew exactly what to do. Got the supplies, did the repairs the way I wanted it and was finished. I appreciate his knowledge and willingness to do the job expertly..

We encountered some problems with the work but, after discussions with Mike, the work was completed to my satisfaction. Mike is easy to work with and is concerned with keeping the customer happy. Highly recommend Five Star.

Mike was very friendly and did the job with enthusiasm. I will use them again and I will suggest them to my friends.
