I wasnâ t too pleased with the service this company provide. The labor cost to replace the storm door is way above the average. But with all the 5 stars rating on the Home Advisor, I am willing to give them a try. The guy who installs doesnâ t seem to be professional at all. I had vinyl siding around the door frame he prises the siding off cause it to bent out of shape. When he reinstalls the siding back, he couldnâ t nail it. He ends up using 1 1/2" Philip screw attach the siding back. Also, when he screws the door closer bracket on the main door frame, he caught a small crack on the wood.

Serviceman came same day and fixed both windows that would not stay open. Previously I could not find anyone to do a window repair. They wanted to replace them. I was satisfied with the work.

I had a great experience with Five Stars New York Construction. Beginning with my request for a quote on Home Advisor for a drywall repair job, the manager/owner called me promptly and patiently worked with me to develop an estimate. Only days later, the worker arrived at my home at the agreed time. He was polite, professional, and came fully prepared. The worker was quiet and meticulous. His workmanship was excellent and I could tell he was dedicated to doing the best job possible. He was also very careful and attentive to my concerns (especially about plaster dust). He took extra steps to ensure the job did not make a mess and he cleaned up thoroughly. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and would hire them again.

I was so impressed with the workmanship! It was exactly what we asked for. The worker that did the job worked so hard and efficiently and cleaned up everything when he was done. I would absolutely recommend them.

Great job on siding replacement

Glib was really good at communicating with me both before I hired them and once my stair rebuild project was underway. Eugene, who actually did the work, was professional, hard working and did a really thorough job. I only wished that Eugene s English was better to facilitate better communication since Glib was not on site. Other than that, I would definitely recommend 5 Stars. I love my new stairs, thank you!

I needed a couple of bedroom doors replaced so naturally went on home advisor, received a call immediately, set an appointment, and two days later they came to my home, measured, accompanied me to Home Depot to purchase what was needed, and a few hours later, the job was done beautifully. Highly recommend

After seeing all the great reviews for Five Stars on HomeAdvisor and Angie's List, we hired them to install our interior french doors. This was more than a simple door installation though, because the french doors and the accompanying fixed panels created a partition wall of 12' x 10'. Glib's team, Eugene and Slava (?), were extremely professional and meticulous in their work. They did an amazing job, and took all of our preferences into account when figuring out the best way to install the wall. Moreover, since our building was built in 1910, the walls, ceilings, and floors are not perfectly square or level, and they came up with clever ways to accommodate and hide these issues.

We also got vinyl siding repaired. They went to the sore and got the closest color to match the siding. It was hard because our siding is over 25b years old but they did it and replaced the broken pieces of siding. Came on time. Very professional and informative. Glib notifies you when his men will be there and explains the easiest way to do the job where it is most cost effective. They charge a fair price . Wil use again. Company is very honest. Had very good experience using them for first time. Glib answers all your questions and there is excellent communication. Handled problem very quickly.

Had to get my front foor replaced because it got stuck earlier in the week and needed the door to be fixed asap. I got a call and Glib was super nice, answered all of my questions. Got the job done asap! The 2 men that came out did an amazing job!! Price did not change as discussed before and after the job and that is something I value a lot. I plan to use them again!
