Need to have cracks in the deck repaired and repainted. I was told it would be a 2-week job. The job took 6 weeks tripled the time promised and the work they did was botched. It has been a year and I now have cracks again and the paint used was a bit water-resistant and has water stains. Not worth the amount of money I paid.

    Response from Company:

We offer a two year warranty on all deck resurfacing. This is industry standard. We have not been contacted by this client for any warranty issue at all. Please note, when there are existing cracks in the concrete decking we fill them and apply a mesh with polymer to cover the crack, but it is not a permanent repair. We explain this to all deck resurfacing clients. The only way to get rid of cracked concrete permanently is to remove the cracked concrete and pour new concrete. There is a high chance of existing cracks opening up again due to expansion and contraction, and we also have many fault lines running through the valley, which cause the ground to shift. I would be glad to stop by and inspect the work for a warranty repair. Also, note that all materials and deck paint we use for deck resurfacing are specifically manufactured for that purpose. Please visit www.xcelsurfaces.com to see the products used. Note that water is the enemy of concrete decks. Irrigation systems and leaks can and will damage concrete, and any texture/paint applied. Again we take pride in our work and craftsmanship, and would be more than happy to return for a legitimate warranty repair. With regard to the job taking longer than promised, we tell clients we would try to get it done in a two to three week period. There are things that can delay work and prolong the job process. These are, poor weather (rain and wind), new concrete that needs time to cure, customer indecision on deck paint color, machinery malfunction or sick employees, or working around other contractors that are also working on the house or landscaping. There is no reason for us to unnecessarily prolong a job. Regards, Leonard Nell Fix-A-Pool, LLC

If you are looking for an excellent pool contractor who specializes in pool remodel and repair, Fix-a-Pool is the right contractor. We had a very unique pool remodel project that required some creativity, including adding a new paver deck adjacent to the pool. Leonard (the owner) had a vision for our pool that far exceeded our expectations. While the project took longer than we anticipated, it was well worth the wait. Leonard has an exceptional team of pool repair craftsman. They were all very professional and great to work with! We highly recommend Fix-a-Pool!!

5.0 Elizabeth R. Las Vegas, NV

Leonard and his crew were amazing professional and my backyard is absolutely beautiful. We had the sheer decent replaced, the pool resurfaced, added deck and had the new and existing deck resurfaced, also we had artificial grass installed and rock. Leonard is easy to talk to and fair with his prices. Any questions I had he answered and explained everything completely. We had a party planned and he went out of his way to make sure it was all done before. I recommend Fix a Pool without reservation it was an exceptional experience!
