Project: Repair a Natural Gas, Propane or Electric Fired Boiler or Radiator Heating System
Excellent service and we would definitely hire him again if needed. From start to finish, totally professional, showed me everything that should be done to avoid this same problem, showed me how to fix some things by myself to keep costs down (taking potential money out of his own pocket, not many would have done that!) and the best part was that his prices aren't outrageous. Thanks Steve, great work!

Steve made an effort to be at my house quickly which was the only positive thing I can say about him! Things went south rapidly and Steve's unprofessionalism and unpreparedness started unravelling by the minute. First of all, Steve demanded $100/hr for working on the job to which I didn't object. He starts ranting about how he's not prepared to find leaks in the ceiling and how he needs to bring some of his contractor friends who will charge $700 to come remove the sheet rock before he can start working. Why is he even a plumber if he cannot locate the source of the leak?! Did I mention he did not have proper equipment (no ladder) and then he used a side table to stand on which is now scarred and destroyed. Besides lack of a ladder, he didn't have the basic necessities for fixing a leak - no couplings or solder. He takes not one, not two but three trips to Home Depot to buy supplies, taking 6 hours to fix 2 leaks ... it was a nightmare to deal with him. While fixing the leaks, he torches the insulation causing a small fire to break out in the ceiling!!! He did make a concerted effort to extinguish it but his lack of experience couldn't have been more evident. Other plumbers use a aluminum sheet for protection while working with a torch. Once he realized that insurance might be involved, he started demanding more money ($350/leak since there were multiple busted pipes). And his reasoning was - Why do you care, the insurance is going to pay you. What?! Is he for real? I want him to finish the job and out of the house. Paid him cash but he couldn't give me an invoice so he said he will email it to me. Apparently, he's out of paper and took him a few days to print out the invoice. Does he email/mail the invoice to me? No, he sends me an illegible picture over the phone! Can you believe this guy?! And, the topper of it all, one of the two leaks he fixed starts to leak again which, needless to say, I had to pay another professional plumber to fix. My experience was nothing short of a NIGHTMARE!
Response by Fix All Plumbing: I tried to help this gentleman the best I could, I gave him a price of $350.00 per leak, there were 2 leaks in two separate rooms, which I had to open the ceiling up in several spots to find the leaks. Halfway through the job, he decided he wasn't going to pay the price that I said the job was going to be. He mentioned "I don't even make that kind of money why should I pay you!" At that point, I was ready to walk off the job and he begged me to stay and finish repairing the leaks. He's lucky I stayed and repaired, he wanted me to hand him an invoice for insurance purposes with the amount of $2,000.00 to claim, when he didn't want to pay the correct amount for a job, to begin with. He shorted me $200.00 and in turn, gave me a bad review! Can't please everyone...

Steve is amazing. While completing the job he taught us how to maintain the project and keep it operating efficiently. He saw something that was out of place and harmful to my family. He fixed the problem. He went above and beyond to make sure we were not only satisfied but happy. We are.

He called 1/2 hour before coming, came on time, the workmanship was good and reasonably priced. I will use them again.

Steve is a competent plumber but our bathroom remodel project was over his head. Typical remodel “order of operations” wasn’t followed and therefore, led to waste of materials and time. The additional workers he hired were also not professionals, just typical day-laborers. Finishing work was also left incomplete such as window sill, moldings, and some tile work, grout and caulk. In addition, the install instructions for the new tub were ignored and we are, about one year later, having some flexing issues with the tub.
Response by Fix All Plumbing: I was shocked when I received this review due to it being over a year and a half later. I was hired to repair a leak on her waste pipe. I completed the job on time customer was happy and now she blamed me for work that I didn't even do at her home and based my reviews on that... I guess I can't please everyone!!!! She was the one that asked me if I knew a guy to do tiles for I told her from the start that I don't do tile work.

Steve was very informative and explained my problem to me in depth. He even informed me what to do in the future to ensure my boiler worked properly for me. He's my new boiler guy!
