FIXED Maintenance and Repair views maintenance and repair from a unique perspective, not just through the eyes of a single trade like a plumber or electrician, but as a property owner. Combined, we have spent more than 80 years managing and maintaining property, dealing with thousands of service vendors. FIXED Maintenance and Repair evolved out of a desire to have a one-stop maintenance and repair solution that delivers all the service "positives" from a life-time of experiences. These include a professional maintenance service that is reliable, arrives on-time, never "no shows", pays attention to detail, respects your property, communicates well and provides proof of service--all at a reasonable price. The sort of company that we would call for our own property repairs and eagerly refer to someone else. Our goal is simple--to make sure your issue gets FIXED and you are happy with our service to call us again!

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because : The principals of the company have dealt with thousands of contractors over more than 80 years of combined experience, managing and maintaining property. Frustrated with calling separate trade vendors depending on the need, and more often than not receiving poor service, they felt like there was a need...A need to offer an on-demand, one-stop maintenance and repair solution for commercial and residential property with a focus on quality work and exceptional customer service. A service that avoids all the typical pitfalls of dealing with contractors: they "no show", they are late to appointments, they don't communicate, they create additional headaches beyond what they solve, they don't show you what they repair and they can be ridiculously expensive. Since we enjoy the service industry and fixing things, and have spent a lifetime doing it, we just expanded our technical service abilities to the pinnacle level of expertise like a Master Electrician and Master Plumber.

We started in this industry in 1988.

Money seems to be more valuable than customer loyalty to this outfit. I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out and yet the plumber cancelled on me on the morning of my appointment. They chose an emergency repair and now cannot help me. The office called me 30 minutes prior to our appointment to cancel and reschedule. I don?t know how they decide which job is more valuable to them but it seems that they chose their customer based on who can pay more (emergency repairs aren?t cheap), because the dispatcher told me their hands were tied. They could have chosen to honor their appointment with me, but they are apparently so busy that they don?t care about one customer left hanging.
Response by Fixed Maintenance and Repair, LLC: I apologize that we were not able to get a plumber out to your request for a repair estimate. This was not a situation of (who can pay more) but tending to our customers in the order of their request for service. Prior to your estimate request, our plumbers had been on a kitchen remodel job for three consecutive nights from midnight to 7:00 a.m. On the morning of your estimate appointment, our plumbing crew was supposed to have completed their overnight work by the time the restaurant's kitchen staff arrived in the morning to prep for lunch. At 4:00 a.m. our plumbing crew called our Dispatchers to say the remodel crew who preceded them ran into delays. That meant our plumbing crew could not start their work until later in the morning, and additional plumbers were needed in order to complete the work and be out of the kitchen before the kitchen staff arrived. Consequently, the plumber scheduled for your estimate was needed help finish the job underway so that the restaurant could open for business. Again, I'm sorry we had to reschedule your appointment but we felt it was necessary to fulfill our obligation to complete a job underway at the restaurant. This was an unusual set of circumstances that doesn't happen often. And regrettably, we satisfied one customer at the expense of losing another customer. If you don't want to reschedule your estimate appointment for another day, and wish to maintain your rating, we completely understand. Otherwise, we'd love a second chance to satisfy your plumbing needs.
