Flat Rate Services gave very reasonably and all-inclusive rates for unlimited vents/returns and Dryer vent cleaning. NJ local provider who came for the job gave me various reasons why those rates are not applicable and charged me extra above the originally promised rates. Unfortunately, I didn't have much choice but to pay it. I did report the issue with Flat Rate Services, but they did nothing until date and it is nearly a month now.

I think we ended up being overcharged in the end, because they talked us into doing a sanitizing rinse of the duct system. But we have a free cleaning again in a year, so hopefully that will make it worth it.

I think the guys, David, Jonathan, and the third worker, did a great job cleaning my ducts. They were super quick and efficient. They were working many jobs that day and were late to my appointment. The company called with advanced notice that they'd be running late and if I still had time to meet them. However, the reason I'm rating them poorly is due to the hard sell on upgrading. David tried multiple times to get me to get sanitizing work done on my pipes because I had "black mold." I did end up getting one step above the basic $169 cleaning. They cleaned the HVAC unit - for $389. Absolutely not worth it. I ended up paying $558 for an appointment that took about 45 minutes and I'm kicking myself for it. Hopefully, I won't have to learn this lesson again with other contractors. I'd avoid these guys in the future.

Offered very reasonable prices, very helpful to what i needed and did not need. Paid careful attention to what they did. Very much appreciated.

They promised to clean the vents and the dryer vent. After doing the basic cleaning, they demanded an additional $130 per unit for mold and mildew removal. They did not tell me that there was mold before they started cleaning. Basically put me in a situation where I had to shell out an additional $400 plus tax or hire another company.

Flat Rate Services quoted me at $169 to clean all of my ducts. They also promised some before and after pictures. One the work was supposedly complete, I asked for the pictures and was informed that we did not agree on before and pictures. I went on to check the ducts and found that they were still dirty and had not been cleaned at all. We did not pay because the job was clearly not even started. Very deceiving and I would not recommend.

Flat Rate Services cleaned and sanitized my air ducts, vents and furnace. Dave and Miguel were very professional and through. Dave discovered a potentially dangerous problem with my dryer vent and took care of it immediately! I am extremely pleased with the service we received.

Arrived fast, on time and did the work in a timely manner!

Sam was very professional. He thoroughly cleaned out all of our air duct systems in about two hours. They did a great job and it was a great experience and I would recommend them!
