I am so glad I hired Mr. Fletcher to replace our old inefficient furnace and water heater. We are very satisfied with his services. After confirming his appointment, him and his crew arrived on time and replaced the system in 1 day, he came back the next day to finish installing ducts to the upstairs. John was very professional and not pushy at all. Believe me, we had done estimates from all the big companies in the area, all of them were requesting for over 20,000 dollars and were pushing us to get and electric heat pump-not what we wanted at all. John came to us and listened to what we wanted and recommended the best and affordable more efficient propane heating system. He gave us a fair price. So glad we used his company/would recommend him without hesitation.

I called them because my boiler shut off and a different boiler guy was trying to sell me a new boiler. They came out the same ay even though they were busy, fixed and cleaned the boiler for a fair price and it has been great ever since. I highly recommend them.

I hired this company to install a new furnace. They advertise energy star equipment... it is even painted on the side of his trucks. What I was sold was a furnace rated least efficient. This heating season I used more than 100 gallons over each of the 3 previous years with my old furnace. I also had a small oil leak after installation. I notified him and he said he would get back to me but never did. I had a new oil tank installed and that part of the job was difficult do to my stairway to cellar. If you are considering this contractor, be sure to ask if you are getting the energy star equipment. Do no assume as I did. Be sure that is what you are being sold.

I used John to install my new furnace and put an emergency shut off switch in the house. This job was done on time and done well. However, I called John to take a look at a second job at my house. He made an appointment with me to come and take a look. He did not come, I asked when he would come he said the next day, He did not come. He did not answer my call the next afternoon but when I called from a different phone he picked up. Its been over a week and I have not heard from John at all. Why not just say that you did not want the job, Why to make appointments and then not show up or let us know that he is not coming.

He was on time, on budget, cleaned up and was very polite and considerate. He took out our oil burner and oil tank and installed a new gas fired boiler

The response time was amazing – i needed immediate attention based on a home inspection – they accommodated my schedule and had all the right parts / were able to fix my boiler. As with any service business it is a good idea to make a confirmation call if your schedule it tight. Highly recommend and would use again.

very professional, got right to work, answered all my concerns. a month after this service i did use him again, a tree took out my power lines and power surged my house and blew something in my furnace. i call him and he showed up the next day before i went to work and fixed it. it was nice to have my central air back :) and so fast too. i will be using him again

I just had a new furnace installed today so I'm hoping the work quality is good - for now I will say 5-star. The estimate came in lower than other local businesses on the island so I decided to hire John. They showed up on time and completed the work on schedule. John is good about answering questions and calling to follow up. I was without heat and he came the day after I contacted him so I would have heat for temperatures predicted to fall into the teens so he is good in an emergency. I take these reviews very seriously since that is how I chose John - he had a lot of excellent reviews so I took the chance. So far it look like everyone was right.

I live in Stamford Ct and was referred to Fletcher Heating by a family member who has a house in Westerley RI. I wanted to replace my boiler and was getting insanely high quotes (10K and up) from some of the heating and cooling companies near me. I already knew what type of system I wanted, knew what the equipment cost was but just needed a reputable company to do the work for a reasonable price. And Fletcher heating was that company. Not only was the cost of the install considerably less than all the quotes I had received locally but the job was done cleanly and quickly and the boiler and hot water tank are still running perfectly 3 years later. Really great company and couldn't recommend them more.

John Fletcher is the best trades person i've had the pleasure to hire. He returned all calls fast. Gave a great estimate and did an outstanding installation. Fast and neat. Everything was exatctly what he said. The local inspector signed off the permit and also complimented what nice job he did. I would highly recommend him for any heating project.
