FAILURE TO PERFORM AS CONTRACTED! In the beginning of August 2024 I contacted 3 contractors to give me estimates on doing my gutters and fascia. I found them on Angies List, so I thought they were checked out and reputable. Out of the 3 estimates I ended up choosing HOME CRAFT GUTTER PROTECTION. The salesman came out on August 9, 2024. His name is Dustin Lily. We discussed what I wanted done and agreed on a price of $15,000. They contracted to replace the fascia and the gutters on my home. The crew came out on August 12, 2024. The crew consisted of one woman and her two 20ish aged boys. She seemed to be experienced, but the boys NOT so much. The boys were a wrecking crew. They were not paying attention to what and how they were ripping things apart. The woman was a little more conscience and careful. When they started with the fascia they used 8ft lengths instead of 10 or 12ft lengths in order to have less seams. As a result the fascia was not even and the ends were just butted together, not at 45 degrees to give it a fitted look. The butted seams were crooked and uneven. It looks TERRIBLE. I pointed this out to the boys, and they said they would correct it. THEY DID NOT! So I pointed it out to the woman, she said she would look into it. Ultimately, I was told "THAT IS THE BEST THAT THEY CAN DO"! What? The old fascia was straight and even, just rotted. During the demo they ripped and bent the metal shingle edging. I thought that they would replace it with new. THEY DID NOT! They used both old and new! They told me it was not in the estimate or in the budget. The way they ripped roof drip rail off they could not re-use it! That is their problem. I called my contact person Cody. He came out, and I pointed out to him that the work that was being done was not satisfactory to me. He assured me that he would take care of it. He did not take care of it during the time the work was being done, and it never has been done since! And some of the rotten fascia still has not been replaced. On my paperwork it says to replace approximately 450ft of fascia, they only did 250ft. I was also promised a copy of the original estimate, but it has never been provided to me. When asking why all the fascia was not replaced I was told it was not budgeted for replacement. But that is not true. It was definitely agreed upon on the original estimate that I'm still waiting for my copy. After they said they were finished and left I tried calling Cody after a week or so he finally got back to me, because HE WANTED TO BE PAID! I investigated on the internet, National Average I found Low/High costs of Materials and Labor. So I chose to use the high National Averages. I inflated the cost of the materials here in Houston by 100%. When Cody showed up I went over my figures with him and he was stunned. As a result we agreed on a total amount of $9,335.00 paid on my personal Check #2080 on Friday, August 16, 2024. Cody then promised me that he and a friend would come back on Monday Morning August 19th and would correct all of the problems we had agreed I had issues with. THAT NEVER HAPPENED - NO SHOW!

HomeCraft did a horrifically sloppy job for us and repeatedly refuses to fix our issues. They do not honor their own warranty. Do yourself a big favor and STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

Nicolas the salesman was excellent

Quality is the same as other companies. You can find some materials even cheaper in hardware store or even the marketplace. The main reason I am not happy with this company because of customer service. They do not respect the customer. It was unprofessional and rude not to answer the customer after the payment. Everything looked fine before the payment. After I paid nobody answered my phone and they are not coming to finish the job for almost 10 days they do not answer my phone and do not care about finishing the job.

The installers did a great job. The gutter drains were supposed to have a cap installed, something sales person said only this company provides. They were never installed. Numerous calls and constant agreement that they should have been installed, and they will take care of it. Well it has been 3 months and zero follow up action.

He told me what kind of job they do & he showed me problem area done with my old gutters that would be eliminated with them. Was very satisfied with job from beginning to end with Joseph heading the actual hanging of the new gutters.

Good product, prompt service, next day, and responsive personnel

The work crew arrived and completed the work within 24 hours after agreeing to having Homecraft Gutter Protection place the gutter guards on my preexisting gutters. They cleaned the gutters, added the braces, sealed the existing braces, attached the guards, cleaned the excess from the installation, and was finished in about two hours. They were very professional, courteous, and exhibited they knew what they were doing in the way and manner they worked. Expecting to have great results when we finally get more rain in the future.

Tim Bush did an excellent job explaining our options for the gutters, guarentee and cost. Robert and his crew did an exceptional job installing the gutters. Mary in customer service is so helpful assisting your needs. I highly recommend Home Craft for your gutters!

Not the most punctual but great job on install and clean up. Time will tell on durability and customer service but so far Iâ m very happy with the results.

Be ready to pay but definitely a job well done! No regrets here, I know I am covered with a great warranty and they look great!
