Rob and his team did an outstanding job on our wood floors. He was always communicating with me throughout the process and responding promptly to any questions or issues I had. He also kindly worked through the water leak issue we had with the home builder and seemed very knowledgeable and provided great advice.

We had a great experience with Floor Coverings International Oakland. We were contacted promptly, did a walk-through for an estimate, and scheduled the work for 3 bathrooms. Work was completed in a timely manner with professional workmanship and we are very happy with the results. We would recommend this company to anyone seeking flooring replacement.

We are extremely happy with our decision to work with Rob and were impressed with him from day 1. We found him through HomeAdvisor and had a few introductory conversations before he brought out his mobile showroom. At the same time we were speaking with other flooring companies to collect various quotes. One national flooring company did the "we can do the job for X, but if you commit right now we'll do it for 70% off". This was a terrible sales tactic and I did not appeciate being treated like this. We also went to a large home improvement store, which started off good, but they required us to come into the store to look at samples. This does not work as we'd never know what the samples would look like next to our walls, cabinets, furniture, etc. Rob was knowledgeable, up front about the options and cost, and at no point in the presales process was he pushy. We committed to getting our floors done and set up a date and time for this crew to come in. When the day came, Rob was here to deliver the flooring, Luis and one more teammate started at 945am and were out before 3pm. They removed and disposed of the carpet & padding, levelled out areas of the floor with a skim coat, and did an awesome job installing the floors. There was one issue, the trim was a little loose between the transition between tile and vinyl. This is where Rob and his team didn't stop until we were happy. Rob kept in touch after the install to make sure everything was perfect. The trim was loose after a few days so he came out personally to take a look and attempt to fix. When that didn't work Luis came back out, removed the trim and original adhesive, used an even stronger adhesive, and taped it down. It's been a few days since then and the glue has fully cured and now the trim won't even budge. This level of service is unparalleled and hard to come by. We'd definitely work with Rob again and refer to friends and family in the area.

They were a bit expensive, but the work was top notch, and they were fast and efficient. They cleaned up the site and had it pristine at the end of the job. In the end I felt the workmanship was with the price.

The floors look beautiful and it was done on time. The communication with the owner, Rob, was great. I have recommended two people to this company.

The owner was responsive, researching our questions, giving us a little extra time. The work was done in the amount of time estimated, the furniture moved and replaced the way it started. The workers were friendly, efficient. Rob came back to inspect a few days later and was very supportive. We were a difficult group as we had several people making input, some of them highly educated and concerned environmental toxin experts. Rob handled us all with grace.

Rob was a pleasure to work with. He was very attentive and patient before, during & after the project completion.

From the very beginning the service level was great. I had a couple of bids and this was not the lowest. But, the care and customer service was great. So, I knew Rob would take good care of me and my home. he sure did. The floor looks great.

Crew was professional & respectful. They communicated well & delivered what they promised and more. My floors turned out beautiful and they worked with me to not have to go beyond what could be refinished responsibly. Their years of experience shone through. Hope to hire them for the rest of my floors soon.
