Floor It Hardwood Floors

Charlie did an excellent job and was able to fit my floor refinishing in the week before Christmas. The workmanship is a testament to his passion for the job and you can tell based on how he talks about the work that he is a true professional. I would not hesitate recommending his work to anyone looking to have their hardwood floors refinished.

Charlie has extremely poor communication skills. Charlie is verbally abusive. Charlie does not honour his committments. Such as refusing to meet to assess job Refusing to return and correct mistakes in every room. Charlie left the job unfinished (did not sand under radiators; did not stain and seal under radiators; did not stain and seal corners of many rooms, some large areas were not stained at all. 2 significant areas in kitchen have dark, thick blotched stains where charlie stopped 7 to 9 inches short of the peninsula. Stained kitchen floor and master bedroom floors which were not to be stained at all, just sealed. Mocked me when I called and texted politely to request he honour his commitment to correct job. Sanding dust on every surface in home, includng 3 rd floor. Charlie committed to seal off 3rd floor - did not do it at all. Very poor work ethic, a screamer, and poor quality finish work (example two areas of 4 to 5 foot in length 4 to 5 inches wides of dark extra stained blotched areas in kitchen in very visible areas - on a floor that was not even supposed to be stained at all); that were stained; staining 2 significant rooms that were not to be stained - eat in kitchen and master bedroom- areas not sanded, sealed, or stained; did Not clean up after job; dirtied entire floor that was supposed to be sealed off by Charlie - he did not (the third floor is a fully finished area: bath, two bedrooms, laundry room, 2 storage rooms, cedar storage closet) . Save yourself a nightmare, do NOT hire Charlie / Floor It! We have multiple photos.

We could not be more pleased with everything provided. What an improvement to our home!!! Charlie was absolutely FANTASTIC during the entire project. He has such an enthusiasm for what he does and I would wholeheartedly recommend him for your project, too!!! For DECADES we were told that our hardwood floors would never qualify for refinishing, and we installed carpeting each time, UNTIL Charlie came to our home and said the floors would be excellent once complete - and they were just beautiful. Thanks once again, Charlie!!!!!

Charlie is a nice guy to deal with. Responded quickly to what was needed at our house. Seemed to be in a hurry though each time he was here. Found a few flaws after the job was done, which I fixed.(paint brush hairs stuck to stairs. A few small bare spots on wood).

You will have no worrys going with Charlie from FloorIt. He was polite, ontime, explained himself, flexible, by which we found a couple of repairs that had to be made that he did without a problem. We are very satisfied, our floors turned out gorgeous, better than we expected.

The workers were prompt each time they came and cleaned up when they were finished. There was a repair that needed to be made which held up the actual floor finishing, but when that was completed, the contractor did everything he could to get the job done in a timely fashion. Everyone was very polite and able to answer any questions we had. Thank You!

He is a pretty sharp guy. It is great work! He can be easily reached at anytime and is always there earlier than expected! He really keeps cost down. He is very neat and cleans up after himself. I have no complaints. Honest and good natured fellow!
