Carlos attention to detail is outstanding. I had been looking for someone to tile a small area in two bathrooms... Most people I contacted could not be bothered or charged an outrageous fee. Carlos was reasonably priced, and he was also very attentive to returning emails or calls.. His work ethic is above and beyond only matched by the quality of his work... I am thrilled with my bathrooms and his tiling increased the look and value of my bathrooms. I am planning on rehiring him to finish my basement... If you hire Carlos.....you will not be disappointed,,,

We cannot say enough good things about Carlos and his team. We have used them twice now on projects in our home and could not be happier. Our first project with him was in a newly built space in our house. Not only did he do a beautiful job laying down large wood-look porcelain tile (48in x 9in tiles), but he also laid down the wiring for our electrician to turn those tile floors into heated floors. When we were re-doing the kitchen floors a year later we knew exactly who to call. His team took up the old floors (that had been improperly installed...) and installed the new stone tile floors, as well as the stone ledger behind the woodstove. Not only does his team do impeccable work (Gill in particular) but they are easy to work with, and his price has been incredibly fair on both occasions. We live in an old 1850s home with lots of projects so will absolutely be using him again for any additional flooring needs!

I had a bad experience with Home Depot and they rescued me. The work is incredible and did it within less than 2 days. Carlos is very professional and communicative..kept in touch before and during the job. Excellent work for the price!! Would highly recommend!!

I hired CMC for hardwood floor, carpet, tiles installation Carlos is the owner came in and gave us an estimate and time frame for completing the job. Price was very reasonable and time frame was also reasonable. he never asked for any deposit. He said " you pay me when the job is done" he kept his words, job was done in same time frame he promised, price never changed, We were very pleased with his quality of work and his communication. I highly recommend him and I will hire him again

Laminate Wood or Stone Flooring - Install
Had t hem install a laminate floor in March, 2018 it started lifting end of May. Called them to come back and repair or fix this issue. They have so far ignored my requests and no longer returning my phone. Would not use this company they do not stand by their work

Carlos, the owner of the company handled all of the negotiation and initial project ideas. He was not the one doing the work. The work was quality the timing was good and the price was very competitive. The only negative I could come up with is that my grass was torn up quite a bit due to the wet weather and the trailer and van getting stuck in my yard.

Looked fine for the first few months, now the floor squeaks like crazy to the point I'm considering tearing it up.. They also shot a couple nail into a cold water pipe that finally let loose a month back after the nails plugging the pipe rusted out. What did they do wrong: poor or no underlayment , didn't let much of the wood acclimate long enough. I have some gapping from the dryness of the winter. The job itself took a long time (too long,) as they seemed to be overcommitted on various jobs, this was very disruptive. Nice people, but doesn't make up for a sub par job.

Do not hire this company I hired them to install tile flooring and shower. they are a bunch of hacks half ass work at best it took them 3 weeks to almost finish the job ( I gave up and paid them just to get it over with). Carlos told me that he was going to fire the 2 workers one of them that was using my toilet as a cutting bench leaving me to buy a new one. Very messy left over grout everywhere tile drippings all over the place. To me the firing should start with him . I had to supply them with drop cloths because i was tired of cleaning up. JUST STAY AWAY!!

I was looking for a tile replacement service for a shower. We hired them and gave the job even though their quote was slightly higher than other contractors we contacted based on the belief that we will be getting quality work (and based on better reviews here). We are left with a very bad experience and wanted to share so others don't do the same mistake. They gave us wrong tile than initially showed - we went along thinking its not a big deal if they do a good job of installing them. Before the job - we asked them if they could install the shower accessory and got a very confident yes (we provided the accessory) - they did a bad job and bathroom is leaking. We called, emailed, texted and after 3 months (yes 3 freaking months) the bathroom is still not usable for a job that should have been a 3 day project at the most. I amnot sure how others gave them 5 stars but we are left with a very bad experience - I can give further info if anyone want to know.

"Hi Nanda, This is the first time that we are hearing about any issue regarding the tiles. If you thought they were not the tiles you picked out, you should have said something. The only accessories that were installed, as a courtesy to you, were new shower knobs. After several attempts it was up to you to call a plumber. I am sorry that you feel this way, however, this complaint is not for any of the tile work that was completed. It is for something that was out of our control."

Look no further! We researched, got quotes and nobody made us feel more at ease then Carlos. He and his crew work extremely hard. We live on a third floor condo and they busted themselves hauling up the materials and getting the place ready. They removed our old dusty carpet and installed hardwood. We are so pleased. We trusted them from day 1 - gave them keys to let themselves in, and we have 3 kitties. They were great all around. On the day they were finished, I came home and saw that they had moved all of the bins we piled up out of the kitchen for us so we didn't have to deal. Top notch all around. We will hire them again for our kitchen when we get ready to do remodel.

They were complete in three days as estimated. We had some trouble during the communication phase before hiring them but it was possibly due to Thanksgiving timeframe. The floor looks pretty good, not as even as I had hoped for. My biggest concerns are 1) They did not cap an entryway between the laid tile and hard wood floor exposing an uneven lay of tile. 2) there is a section along the edge of the tile and cabinets where a 2-3" gap exists. 3) The grout lines seem to show evidence of cracking, hopefully this will go away when we wipe down the tiles again.

I hired Carlos to build a walkway in the front of my home. I explained how I wanted the walkway done, to properly grade it and set loam graded around it away from walk prior to starting project. He did not do as was asked and discounted my request as being the wrong way to do it regardless of my explaining the water issue I had in front of my steps. The entire walkway he built was completely under 2" of water within two days after a bad day of rain! My water problem - now 3x worse because he did not do as I requested!! When I sent him a picture of the walkway, I got no response. He also parked his trailer on my newly hydroseeded lawn and left it there for three days. Then when he came back to get it, drove over the new hydroseed sinking in with tire marks leaving a mess! I told him I wanted a refund, hung up on me. Don't hire them to do a walkway. They don't use the right tools or materials. I have pictures. Had to have the walkway re-done by another landscaping company who verified that Carlos used the wrong brick, stone dust base and only went down 4". When I asked his worker, Mark who built it, if he used gravel underneath the base he told me "yes". The landscape co. that For the owner to hang up on a customer after this situation says a lot. The tile work the grout work is also starting to come apart in the kitchen.

"We are sorry that you feel this way. We discussed the water problem in detail and unfortunately, the slope of the yard will always cause water build up. We explained that we would need to build a retaining wall in order to properly resolve the water issues. As you were getting ready to sell the home, you wanted a quick fix and declined the retaining wall. The materials that were used were the proper materials for a walk way. Regarding a refund, we did the job that we were hired for and the walkway itself had no problems with the workmanship, it was a situation out of our control without the retaining wall."

Most of the work was done while I was not around and my wife was out of town. So there were a few detail decisions made by the contractor that were not what we expected. Overall, we are happy with the result. The decisions were part of keeping the cost down.
