We had two areas of the floor that were overlooked and did not get finished until yesterday. We were surprised by all the dust and the crew made a terrible mess in our bathroom. I am personally not happy with the look of the floor now. I wish I had been shown exact samples of how it would look. I would have opted to put a stain on the floor as apposed to the clear coat we used. I am also disappointed with the outcome of the clear coat. I expected it to have more gloss. It was said that the floor would look like the oak trim on our bar. It does not! I think I should have been called in to view the floor prior to putting on the finish. I would have decided to stain the floor at that point. Of the three interviews I did for this job, I really thought Floors Online would do the best job. I was wrong. Omar is a nice person, but the actual work did not give me the look I wanted, expected, for the house. Part of the contract was to put a vapor barrier under the house. I was told that only half of it got done. Once most of the work was done, it was difficult getting them to finish all the work. All our baseboards were damaged during the refinishing. We will now need to refinish them.
