Never pay Richard before the work is completed and meets your satisfaction. I made the mistake of paying him $5000.00 to add to my existing fish pond. I knew I was took when after 2 weeks on the last day he said he should be finished the next day. The pond addition looked terrible. Definitely did not look like the picture I was shown. It looked terrible.The pond did not blend with the existing pond. He used three different kinds of rock. The worst was he lost most of the water two times. My poor fish barely had enough water to keep them alive. It is not a good time to loose water with the water shortage. My husband finally got fed up and told Richard not to come back. We were supposed to pay him $1200.00 more when finished. Needless to say Richard Simmons will never receive another penny from me.

I hired Richard last year to complete a landscape design for our front yard (plant flowers and evergreens). The work was completed over several days and by late summer early fall several plants had died. All plants were guaranteed for one year per our contract, I reached out to Richard several times late last fall and we agreed to wait until spring to replace the dead plants. We provided him with alternate plants since he claims he was not able to get some of the ones we had chosen and to date I haven't heard from Richard. I feel my only recourse is to let people know he failed to live up to the contract and maybe small claims court. I would not recommend Floradays Landscapes for your landscaping projects.

Friendly and hard working crew. Work was done in a timely manner whit no damage to the lawn . They did a complete removal of the old landscaping and planted new shrubs, tree and flowers in the front yard. Very happy with the work and the crew . Would highly recommend this company!!!

This is a low cost, friendly business fully capable of adjustments to a landscape involving adjustments to flower and shrub arrangements and required irrigation.

If you just need someone to pick up a few trees and plant them, Floradays will meet your needs; however, we have had several issues with this company that will have us looking elsewhere in the future. 1. They suggested Hosta and Day Lilles for our backwood area. All but one has been eaten by deer. You would expect that a company that was given a blank canvas with tons of trees would not pick things that deer love as snacks. 2. They offer a one-year warranty on installed plants. I mentioned lavender that died to them over three months ago. They told me to wait until fall and they would replant it. I have contacted them four times over the past three weeks and they have not responded in any way. 3. My wife and I asked for a French drain to be installed on the side of our house to handle significant water that runs when it rains. They did not listen when my wife told them that she could use a raft and ride the water flow. The installation was WAY undersized to handle the volume. They came back and offered a slightly larger catch and redid the trench since it was done so badly the first time that it was showing through the eroded dirt. That made virtually no difference. They also gave up on connecting the house downspouts to the system. They failed to factor in the irrigation system when they considered the complexities of the job and basically wanted to avoid the risk. In the end, we have a drain that does nothing better than how it was before PLUS we are out the money and we have a lovely trench when they dug and did not backfill correctly. 4. We asked them to quote edging to hold in our mulch. It took multiple times for them to respond and they actually asked me to measure the linear footage and they would email me the bid. When I pushed back, they came out for about 15 minutes, did not speak to me and never sent me the quote.

We had this company do some landscaping for us at the beginning of the year. At first, we were thrilled with how polite and accommodating they seemed. However, after they were paid, issues began to arise with flower beds as well as with plants they put in on a very high sun area of our property that has gotten scorched in the sun and looks terrible, despite being watered daily both by hand and automatic sprinkler. The plants were guaranteed supposedly and we were told to just call back with any issues. They have been unresponsive via text and phone since The beginning of March. The response I did receive was to send pictures, which I did and I was told that they would be in touch the next day. Never did receive a phone call. I received one return which I received in the middle of the workday and missed, and have gotten no further communication on any of my attempts to contact including multiple times today. I wish I read google reviews in addition to the reviews here.. both were 1 star with similar-sounding experiences to what I have had.

They wanted to help me accomplish what I wanted to accomplish, even though the picture in my mind is not the norm for yard landscapers today,...... because I am not normal, and I appreciate that open minded spirit .

Richard and Sam responded right away to my request for an estimate. They worked with me on what would work best for my home and were very flexible with my requests. They kept me updated with their schedule and when they would be at my house. If there was a problem, they would let me know immediately. We were very happy with their work and I would hire them again.

I only used him once and I found him to be reliable hones, mature and reputable. I will hire him again.

They are every flexible! Richard and Sam did our pool landscaping and we changed our minds a few time but they were very flexible and we ended up with a great landscaping around the pool.
