Florentine Floors, Inc. specializes in concrete staining and design. We also have a full line of industrial flooring, concrete cleaning, restoration and sealing services for our residential, retail, commercial and industrial clientele. Concrete Staining & Design Concrete staining is a permanent transformation of ordinary concrete into something that resembles "old world" stone, marble or tile at a fraction of the cost. Because the concrete floor serves as our "blank canvas" we are not confined by the size of available materials. Because concrete staining is not a paint or coating it will never chip, fade of peel. Industrial Flooring Florentine Floors, Inc. will complete a physical and technical evaluation of your concrete substrate, provide a demonstration Services Color Injection Micro Top test of products and advise you on the best coating for the intended installation. Industrial flooring applications include, but are not limited to: Warehouses Showrooms Store fronts Workshops Aircraft hangars Laboratories Commercial kitchens Indoor pools Locker rooms Garages Electrostatic discharge floors Color Injections The technology now exists to inject color into cured gray concrete. We utilize a chemical transporter that is tinted to your specification and the color is injected into the concrete. The finished look is soft, translucent and elegant just like stained concrete. Additionally, the chemical we use increases the concretes stain resistance qualities. The finished product looks and feels just like the concrete we started with except it is now a different color. Techniques are available to create floors that closely resemble stained concrete. Micro Toppings For restorations or clients that desire a new surface we apply about 1/8 of polymer concrete. The new surface has a light texture and stains beautifully. The micro topping may be tinted to a specific color and sealed, acid stained or the color injected chemically. Technical Consulting Florentine Floors, Inc. has assisted numerous clients in overcoming concrete coating challenges. We succeed where others have failed because of our expertise, systematic approach and valuable resources. We carefully diagnose the problem, recommend correction or mitigation procedures and then work on the decorative process. Do it right the first time and you will not do it again. Cleaning and Restoration Florentine Floors, Inc. routinely cleanses the concrete substrate prior to staining and sealing. We apply this same expertise when cleaning a driveway, parking area, sidewalks and patios. Once cleaned, we can apply a variety of sealers and impregnators to resist soiling in the future. This investment reduces future maintenance costs and "down time."
