Floyd installed wood beams on our living room ceiling. He did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I have had work done by him before, so on January 11, when we agreed to 3 months because of a back order for a fireplace, I agreed. Now we are going into month five and nothing. I emailed numerous times and only got a copy of my contract. Only when I told him I was a previous customer and trusted him did he reply back and repost about shipping delays. This is hard to believe when someone on your page said he got orders within days. Also, when your contract says you can finish a job basically whenever you want to and there are no refunds under any circumstances, then you will have the doctor read the contract for 3 4 months before signing it. Not signing it by both parties makes it not binding. I just want my money back for the lack of service, customer service, and delivery on time. I am not bashing his work. I just want my money back. 

Our experience with floyd the fixer was phenomenal! We are so glad we found him. His work is amazing and he truly has a gift to hear your vision and make it come to an exceptional piece of work. He did our built in bookshelves and built in Tv cabinet and we couldnâ t be happier. We will definitely be recommending him to others and will use him for any future carpentry needs. He truly is honest, reliable, and his work shows his dedication to detail and making sure the customer is happy! We highly recommend his business!

Floyd designed, built, and installed a built-in-bookcase for our new home. Floyd gave us suggestions and designed a beautiful bookcase. The quality was good and was installed nicely. The customer service was excellent and Floyd is accessible.

Floyd is a designer and installer. I would recommend him. He is very popular so waiting is lengthy. He made adjustable bookcases for me. You get what you pay for. His work ethic is fabulous. I love my book cases.

made a beautiful Entertainment center.

I would pick Floyd again for any new home project. He was a little backed up when I hired him but it was well worth the wait! My project turned out even better than I had pictured in my head.

He built a custom window seat with drawers and lots of storage space. The custom work is a masterpiece. We are thrilled with how it turned out. He is working on another project for us. and I have 2 more for him to do in the future as soon as I can get on his schedule. He is in much demand. A++++ craftman. I just wish I had found him sooner than I did.

I have to start by saying that Floyd did 3 projects for us about 3 years ago. We decided to use him again as we loved what he did for us. Unfortunately, this time around has been an absolutely horrible experience. He came and measured and we told him exactly what we wanted, paid our 50% deposit, and then waited for our turn. When we went to approve the design in his shop, of course, it was fine and we liked the look of the cabinets. What we did not do at his shop was measure to make sure he built to his own measurements, why would we need to do that? He measured the space so we figured he would build to his measurements. The unit arrived ready for install and they did not fit at all. They are way too large for the space they were supposed to fit in. At first, Floyd told us we would need to just remove our shutters. Then, he tried to just cut a corner off and now they look worse. Then he demands the rest of the payment when it is far from complete, and it is all wrong. We refuse to pay until the project is complete, to our satisfaction, which is exactly what his own proposal says. So he stopped all work on the project and refused to correct the mistake he made. His solution was to remove the cabinets from our house and install in his shop and keep our deposit. We referred this to the BBB and his reply was that he upgraded our cabinets to 33% larger cabinets for free. Well it not an upgrade because they do not fit. Now I have to hire a new carpenter to rip them out and redo them. This project is now costing me double all for a mistake Floyd made and admitted he did not build to size. While I have highly recommended Floyd in the past, I will NEVER recommend him again after what he has done to us. I would be happy to share pictures with anyone who wants to see this mess.

I had two pieces of stained-glass, 2 ft x 6 ft installed on my porch and both pieces were broken. His response was **That is too bad** he, then went up the street and cashed my check.

He does good work, he's definitely a good carpenter.

I wish I could leave a better review. I have gone back and forth about actually submitting this and I genuinely hope my honesty saves someone else disappointment in the future. We found Floyd to be very unprofessional. Which could have been overlooked if the work was outstanding however; screws hanging out, an extremely sloppy paint job, holes in our walls, gouges in the wood and an incomplete job is what we were left with. I chose Floyd based upon the reviews I read here and after seeing his work fist hand, I am extremely confused as to how those reviews came about. We were charged $1700 for what looks like a DIY gone wrong and now we have to sink more time and money into fixing it all. I wish I could upload photos, they speak louder than my words ever could.

We spec`ed out our built in project with both major home stores before finding Floyd, He built our project to fit with no spacers or fillers for less than what we would have paid for a premade solution. Not only will be using him again but we are coming up with new projects now that we have found him

Floyd is a visionary! He helped me view my space in a more functional way! He is candid and professional! I would recommend him with no hesitation.

Floyd was on time and worked closely with me to plan my custom items! Price is good and I look forward to seeing the finished project!

Floyd is a true artist. He can take an idea and turn it into something brilliant. He is extremely reliable and conscientious. He pays attention to the detail and is happy when you are happy. We are continuing to use his talents for other carpentry jobs in our home.
