Fobbs Lawn & Tree Service

Trimmed 1 Tree, never came back to finish any other work. Would not return numerous phone calls. Paid $6,000 to purchase artifical turf for install and never ordered or did any of the projects other than trim the one tree. Was supposed to trim 5 trees, install artifical grass, construct paver border around grass. Total price was over $15,000 for projects so I was ripped off for the $6,000 I paid him. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON

We hired this company on May 20th, 2016. They notified us that they would begin service on the 25th of May. No one showed up this day and I was not informed of them not showing up. I called the next day with no answer, so I texted and the "schedule maker" apologized and said a crew would be out to start on Tuesday, May 31st. Again no call, no show. Finally I received a text on June 2nd, 2016 stating someone would be here on the 3rd. Again no call, no show. I then texted the next day to ask what happened and they stated someone would be here on Saturday, June 4th. AGAIN, a no call, no show, not even a text. She finally text me and told me someone would be there on Monday, June 6th at 10 a.m. Then no one still showed up that Monday and my only contact told me to contact the person in charge of the crews. So i proceeded to call him and he apologized and said they would be out and the sod would be in by Wednesday the 8th. He also reassured me not to worry that everything would be far done by July 2nd for my son's birthday. I texted the 8th and didn't get a response til late in the afternoon and she said someone was coming to do the walkway. Still no one showed up. Some where in between all this, they partially did a walkway, but this has been going on for 6 weeks now going on 7. I am very disappointed and disgusted that they are even BBB certified. No communication and no one has even bothered to check on us or anything. They should be embarrassed to call themselves a professional business. I also had to cancel my son's first birthday party and had non-refundable deposits on entertainment and tables and chairs.

These people came to my property to bid job and then returned next day to pickup deposit for 50% down on work. They promised to begin work a week later and I have still yet to see them more than 8 weeks later. I am seeking legal action on this company.

Worked with my budget. Very knowledgable (I wanted to cut thicker branches & they were willing but advised me that it would lead to holes/gaps in the canopy)

Paid about a little under $800 to get 2 trees trimmed and 1 larger tree removed. They did leave a very small almost to the ground stump, I believe because it was so close to the foundation and not all of the roots were removed so I will have to dig it up myself. I noticed there was a long one still there after they left. I needed them to be here today since I did have a large hanging limb and I was concerned it would fall on my dogs and they had availability for today. They did great hauling off all the debris and they raked the yard to pick up any lingering debris. Overall I was satisfied minus a few minor things.

I loved these people. They showed up with a large crew to do the initial cleaning. They worked fast and steadily all the time they were here. They offered good and practical ideas and executed them well. They went a little over budget but in all fairness I ordered some extra things and doesn't everything go a little over budget? Very pleased with everything and would recommend to anyone. I would hire them again for more projects. CORRINE NAYLOR

They are very friendly, professional and all the guys were very helpful. They completed the work on time and cleaned up after they were done. I would likely hire them again for any Landscaping/maintenance.

Outstanding and professional group! They trimmed up my back yard tree and removed a dead part of my front yard tree plus carried off some yard waste that had been lying in the back. To my surprise when I got home, they had also removed a tree stump from the back and had trimmed back my neighbors tree that had been rubbing up against my roof line without me even asking them to do it. Will use them again for certain!

Poor communication, extremely hard to contact by phone, took 3 1/2 weeks. More than half the grass laid looked dead and after a week still looks dead with plenty of water applied each day. If he lives up to his guarantee I'll be satisfied and would recommend him to others.

Very profession crew, arrived on time and done an excellent and safe job removing a very tall pine tree. Remove the stump and clean up was great. Also furnished us with a copy of their insurance which was a important part of us hiring them. I them hired them for lawn service and some tree trimming and it too was a great job. I would recommend Fobbs even to my mother-in law.

They didn't do it on the day they were suppose to as they kept coming up with problems and excuses why they did not show up and did not call in advance of there rescheduling.I gave them 1/2 the money up front which had me worried with there no show.I would recommend there service again however do not pay until job is done

Highly Recommended. Their service was excellent. They took a big tree out of my back yard. Great crew of guys that knew what they were doing. I will defiantly use them again for other projects.

Nice friendly people, They did a good job on the sod installation. The only set back was they didn't get it level enough. With the rains I got a good size puddle of water on my patio. I would recommend and will use them again for future projects i have planned.

I felt they went above and beyond. The sod was installed at a rental house. They had to deal with rain, renters and an out of town client, myself. I was worried about hiring them, since I had not met them and only had to go by reviews on the computer. They went the extra mile to get the sod installed, trees removed, and sprinkler fixed in the time allotted. Even though the job is done, they have went back to help set the timer for the sprinkler system and I feel I can call them for dependable service!

First day- no call no show Second day- said they would be there by 11am showed up at 4pm completely cleared my yard started bugging me for remaining balance Third Day-they sprayed my fence, planted all my trees too deep, left cardboard and ties around trunks of trees, threw 2 bags of grass seed on top of soil not aerated. wanted payment in full with a half built flower box that has cracked bricks in it and is uneven. 9000.00 rip off

The job I hired them for was not a simple tree removal. They were hired to remove a HUGE tree from my backyard. They worked very hard and did a job I am pleased to say I hired them for.

Mr. Fobbs and his crew finished the projects that I hired them for at my satisfaction, the project included building a fence and leveling my yard with two loads of good dirt. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of his employees and Mr. Fobbs himself.
