Forbes Associates, LLC

I had Forbes associates come out to let them know I want a pavilion built. I'm not knocking their quality of work. Since I didn't hire them but instead he was pushy. He wanted me to accept the proposal without seeing it and is very pushy on starting (when I told him I had others to review first). Please be careful.

I hired Jim to finish our basement and he will not come out to complete the project. There is less than a 1/2 day of work, a window needs to be replaced, 3 door knobs installed and 2 electrical outlets are not working. Really not much left at all. 12/21/18 was the last time he was at my house. We've texted repeatedly since that date and he always responds, however, there have been multiple excuses as to why this job has been abandoned for well over a month.

Hiring Jim Forbes (Forbes Associates) was one of the best moves my husband John and I ever made. He took our major project of building a stick built garage, built a staircase from the 1st floor to the basement, a stamped concrete driveway, walkway, sidewalks and paving a sidewalk for our new residence in Hamilton Township and he ran with it. We have never been so happy with the outcome of our project. He and his staff were very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. He treated my husband and I like he would his own family. Jim kept his timelines as promised, handled all the township paperwork involved, and was very reasonable and honest about the proposals he gave us up front for the entire project. We have had several bad experiences in the past with our project and he cleaned everything up for us. We did the right thing by meeting with Jim and hiring him as our General Contractor. We would highly recommend him, and appreciate his honesty and integrity that he puts into his work. Once we build the scope of work and timeline, he takes the stress of managing the project off of my shoulders, and puts it on his. This was a very pleasant experience. Jim always responded to any question I had. They were neat clean and always working and finished when he said he would . He always kept me abreast of the schedule. I highly recommend Forbes Assoc,llc and would definitely use them for any future projects I have. Took a little longer than it should have but the outcome was very good. Although very professional when they were here they asked to quote us for other projects and they have failed to follow up with the quotes as promised.
