The water line from the meter to the house broke. They installed a new line at a very fair price. They were prompt in coming out and assessing what my options were. The work was excellent and prompt. Everything turned out great.

Did job with very little disturbance to my yard

Jim called me immediately. He came out and reviewed the job that day. It was a few days before Christmas, but he managed to get it done before the holiday hiatus, which none of the others could. He also had the best price, and they did a great job. We highly recommend Ford homes.

Discovered excessive water consumption in April due to leak between water meter and shut off valve in house. Received estimate for repair to replace water line that ran under house from Jim Ford on April 24 and work was completed in one day on May 7, 2018. Work crew included members from Roger Henry Excavating and was very professional and did fantastic job inside and outside of our home in Liberty Township. I definitely recommend this crew for this kind of work. We had to have the main water line replaced and the connection was under the floor in the laundry room. The existing water heater had to be moved to to gain access to install a the new water line. Since the existing water heater was 40 years old we had it replaced when the new water line was installed. The work was completed the same day and by an excellent crew. Several days following the installation it was discovered that the drain valve needed to be replaced. Jim Ford was contacted and after he inspected the valve made arrangements for a factory service rep to contact us to schedule a time to replace the defective valve on the water heater. I highly recommend Ford Homes Inc for this kind of work

Price, value, workmanship all excellent. Jim and his crew were very professional. The crew also cleaned up the yard and the street. The Job was done very quickly! I would recommend Jim and Ford Homes for any project.

!st response contacted me first, came out said they could fix the leak. Never came back, could not contact them, never returned calls. Ford Homes came out ant followed through.

At the end of the day, I got my issue fixed, however it was not without dealing with a dug up cable even though the utilities were clearly marked. The cable was just thrown in the trash heap with no attempt to notify anyone. Obviously when we got home, we were with out phones, tv or internet (which my wife needs the internet for getting access to her hospital website). My wife had to get a hotel room for a night in order to get internet access because she was on-call with the hospital. We had a temporary line in but it was days before the cable was reburied. The excavators made excuses and took no responsibility for their lack of due diligence which was greatly disappointing. I know that these things can happen and I would not be nearly as critical had the excavators contacted someone about the damaged cable, but they just buried the excavation and walked away. I found Mr. Ford to be a reasonable man and I don't get the impression he was very happy with his guys. At least he agreed to renegotiate the final invoice (although somewhat reluctantly). All-in-all, it was a frustrating experience.

My husband was very impressed with the work and price paid to get the job fixed. Very knowledgeable and got the job done quickly. They were able to come out the same day for a quote (for free), and fixed it the next.

I was very satisfied with the job that Ford Homes did and the end cost. Jim was very nice to work with as well as the rest of the crew. I would go with Ford Homes again for other projects.

Mr. Ford came out for an estimate the same day I called him. He was by far the best price, beating the competition by 40%. The repair was done quickly. I could not be happier with the outcome. If you have a plumbing issue give Mr. Ford a call, he is very professional and very capable.

Ford Homes was by far the most reasonably priced of all the bids. I had bids that ranged from $750 to $3900 - for the same job! The bonus is that he may be able to help with another plumbing issue.

He was on time and his prices were in line with others and he cleaned up really well.

Honestly, I couldn’t be more satisfied. 5 stars and 5 more. All service and repair visits should go as smoothly as this one did. These guys are the real deal. Prompt. Personable. Professional. They are more than willing to go the extra mile to help their customers. I recommend you call them first and don’t waste your time with those other guys. You will be thrilled that you did. It’s so hard to find an honest repair company these days. I found mine! I’m a customer for life.

Would like to have gotten a written warranty that explained what was covered and for how long.

I had a difficult bathroom remodel and they did a beautiful job getting it done. Very happy with Jim Ford and his crew.
