Inquired as to estimate for roof repairs, was told after the young man walked the roof that they don't like to do repairs but would make us a deal on a new roof. Finally agreed to metal roof, we were presented a "contract" which was scribbled on a blank receipt form that can be purchased at any office supply store or Walmart. None of the company's info was preprinted on the forms, everything was scribbled on by hand and misspelled. The colors of the materials ordered were not even listed. Even though we were reassured by various parties, we drew a cashier check on our bank (highly reputable military bank-out of state), we got received a phone call from the contractor stating he couldn't cash it. After calls to both banks and the office number listed to try to rectify the issue, the "owner" of the company called me a nut job on the phone and told the contractor not to do the work. They only want to do straight up cash or check. When asked about paying by credit card, we were told they preferred not to. When we spoke to the "owner" he said they could do cards, but it costs them money and they have to write up a formal contract and email it. NO WHERE, no where do they mention licensing or insurance, but claim to be. Online reviews state no warranty, but on the scribbled invoice they write on labor warranty. Do yourself a favor and find a company who can communicate clearly what they will do and not throw insults at you when you ask about insurance and licensing.

"I am terribly sorry you wasn?t happy with our contracting agreement. It is prohibited with home adviser to not have insurance and the correct license to be partners with them, we are required to have it. I always email proof of our information to clients. We do accept cards, but it does cost money, we prefer not to and since then we have a program that is cheaper on each transaction. Thank you for your review we definitely take this very seriously and hope you found the company that was right for you. NOTE: no work was performed on this review."

We had wind damage to our roof. They came out for a free estimate. Offered a very reasonable price for shingle removal and replacement. The workers showed up when they said and did the work expected. They cleaned up all around the house. We had no issues at all and plan to use them for another project soon.

Metal Roofing Repair
Great company. We have been dealing with roof problems for some time and had 2 other companies out to do repairs. Neither of them did anything that helped. These guys came out on a Friday after contacting them on Thursday. They called back that evening with a quote. We accepted and they were there on Monday to sign a contract and then completed the job on Tuesday. Even with the strong storms this week there was no leaking detected. We are very happy.

Deck or Porch Repair
Hired to replace dock flooring with a composite boards. The screws were not lined up when installing the boards, did not use a chalk line at first until I pointed it out and then they did good work once they used the chalk line. I would like him to replace the boards where the screws were not in line. I would be happy to update review once project is to my satisfaction. They did come back and do a chalk line but they are not really straight. They replaced 5-6 boards. They would need to replace the whole thing.

They showed up when expected, they worked hard while here to to finish the job. They were thoughtful with the old materials knowing I had a dog I needed to let into back yard- so they kept everything neat as possible. The rain interrupted the job multiple days but they showed up the next day to work each time. They finished the project, I feel, as quickly as possible. I will use them for future projects I have. I am very pleased with the work they did and happy with my new deck. I completely recommend them with no hesitation.

Wayne s crew committed to our screened deck renovation with short notice, and starting on the day before a holiday (July 3) to boot. The discovery of more damage than originally anticipated, weather and a couple of material issues slowed progress a bit, but the crew completed the job in acceptable time. Would definitely hire them again.

These people were timely, dependable, showed up when they said they would and did high quality work on repairing my deck. I thought the $800 price for replacing 12 deck boards and sistering 3 joists may have been high, but since the other home advisor companies didn't respond to me I only had one estimate, so I might have underestimated the cost of materials and labor. If so, then I should have given 5 stars for value. I had absolutely no complaints about anything else.
