"The beauty of this product is that it doesn't change the appearance of the stone! If you had a honed matte finish and used a product that would add a shine it would ruin that look. Adding "shine" to the surface can be done in two ways, the best way is through the mechanical process of polishing. A temporary topical sealant that builds up after several applications, (and becomes cloudy), can be used and it's considerably cheaper but once it's been applied you're stuck. Our product is permanent and is for the purpose of preventing stains, soap scum build up, mold, water spotting and making cleaning simple. It is not to add shine to a dull or damaged surface, this requires mechanical restoration. Sorry that the customer did not understand what they were purchasing but we are confident that in the years to come they will see the excellent results."
