We signed a contract with Top Cop in October of 2018 to replace our existing deck with composite, extend the length by 6â and build a screened in porch. To date, we have yet to receive our C of O. Arnold estimated the job at $17,000.00. The job thus far has cost us $23,000.00. This additional cost is due to the fact that Arnold is unable to properly estimate a job and hiring outside contractors to repair the poor workmanship of Top Cop. It has been a nightmare. The plans needed to be redrawn several times because the Buildings Department would not approve of them. Either too close to the cesspool, unable to give them the proper dimensions for a vaulted ceiling, the list goes on. When Arnold advised us that the inside porch was complete, I was in shock. He used different color molding around our sliding door, there was paint left on the screens and floor. The 2 doors he framed out were and still are not level, leaving gaps at the top and bottom of both doors. When I finally had to hire another company to fix as much as they could, their response at first site was the job was disgraceful. Hie and his crew broke several pieces of siding, ripped a large whole into the fascia, and the list goes on. He needed to install two rain diverters on the roof on either side of the porch roof. One was brown the other was silver! We have just recently discovered that the composite boards on the landing and stairs are bent out of shape. Unfortunately, at this time we just do not have anymore funds available to repair yet another problem caused by Top Cop. Finally, we have attempted to contact them on several occasions for them to get the C of O. They will no longer return our calls. This is a terrible company!

Tony and his helper replaced/repaired facia and soffit on a corner of my home today. Tony had recommended that the rotted wood be replaced with PVC rather than wood. I followed his recommendation and am greatly satisfied with its appearance and hopefully it will withstand the test of time and I will never have to worry about wood rot in that area again. Job was completed in 1/2 day (which I never would have believed), gutters rehung and everything cleaned up. I highly would recommend this company for your needs. I may have found someone a little cheaper but the quality of materials used, quality of the workmanship and thoroughness of job management from start to finish was well worth the money spent. I definitely will have them back for further work.

Nick was extremely timely, and his price was fair. Gable fascia boards were replaced with PVC boards. Replacement, painting and cleanup great job.

The owner of this company Top Cops (Tony) took on my job of a floor that had rotted wood, and also needed to be leveled. This job was too much for him and his workers, because they were not able to level the floor. Eventually he and his team quit the job after the 2nd day with a total of approximately 7 hours of labor, because I was not satisfied with their end results. Their results left me with soft spots in the rotted subfloor, and still and un-level floor. I think they would be great for much smallerl jobs.

I am very pleased with the repair work done to the window and sheet rock around the window.

It was great to actually speak to the owner instead of an answering machine or having to wait 2 weeks for an estimate. My roof was leaking and Top Cops were able to immediately come over and fix it. Very prompt, They were the 4th co. I contacted to get an estimate for outside home repairs. They responded within 24 hours had the estimate to me within 24hours and when we said lets do it they were here the next day! We ended up having more work that needed to be done than anticipated but Nick and Sergio worked diligently and completed the job. The work is very good and the cost is what I anticipated.
