If you’re looking for a roofing contractor that is experienced, professional, reliable, thorough, attentive to your needs, responsive to your questions and concerns, and is fully licensed and insured with an A rating from the BBB, Ray Pickett is your “ticket” to getting your job done with peace of mind. Fortec Building Group, a member of the National Roofing and Chicago Roofing Contractors Associations, completed our complete re-roofing and new gutters job in a timely manner with attention to detail, using quality materials at a reasonable price. The crew was knowledgeable, efficient, and left the property clean and trash free. Ray checked the project upon completion for any missed details. His attention to detail, responsiveness, regular communication, advice, and follow-through on concerns were above and beyond my expectations. Thank you, Ray!

I would like to thank fortec building for the work that they have done in my home the work was excellent and they did it in such a professional manner would recommend them to my friends

Finding Fortect on our block was definitely to our advantage. We met VIRGINIA who was "literally" on top of her job. She was the inspector, the P.R. person, the(anything) question person, she was Fortect in a bottle, and a phone call away. After meeting her any concerns were laid to rest. My husband and I were so pleased with the quality and workmanship of our projects. All insurance concerns were well taken care of by Virginia and of course we were more than happy to refer them to our family, friends and neighbors.

FORTEC checked off all the boxes to delivering great customer service. The remarkable work they put in with my insurance company was quite impressive. Their in-house adjuster service gets a 5-star. The company did all the leg work with my insurance company to assure that I received the best possible outcome. The roofing crew arrived early to start the job right at 8 am!! I am truly in awe with the amount of work they did in one day. I have a beautiful new roof! And the cleanup after was amazing. They left my yard cleaner than it was before. I am truly impressed with the services from beginning to end and I will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking to get a new roof.

Stephanie H. Fortec was a great company to work with and my rep Shannon was a pleasure to work with and took care of getting everything rolling out for me. I didn't have to do much at all even when it came to getting my insurance provider involved, working permits, etc. All I really had to do was pick out my color choices for the roof, gutters, siding & downspouts; which is the fun part of it all. The workers themselves are hard working, very accomplished in their skills and make sure to clean up any debris before calling it a day. So if you prefer to be taken care of and not have to do much to get the work done; then Fortec is the solution for you. I was absolutely blown away when the work was all covered by my insurance and I didn't have a pay a dime....Thanks to Fortec for handling everything from start to finish.....A JOB WELL DONE and DEFINITELY A COMPANY I RECOMMEND.

I had some concerns mid-project, but one call to the company resolved the issue. They immediately came out listened to my concerns and corrected everything to my satisfaction.

FANTASTIC PEOPLE, WORKER KNOWNS HIS JOB....GREAT WORKER

This project turned out great. They showed up right on time and even finished early, having cleaned up after themselves very well. I would certainly recommend this company to any of my friends.

This is the best company we have dealt with in our 41 years as homeowners. They dealt with our insurance company, who agreed to pay for a new roof and gutters, as well as inside damage. The work was prompt and outstanding. A special mention to Michael Robb, whose accessibility and attention to deal made this project a joy. You should give them a call.

On time and squeezed me my repairs in ahead of hosting an event

We were happy with their work. Mike was very nice and so was the crew. They worked hard and fast, cleaned up, and were very pleasant.

I hired them to replace my roof, repair siding, and gutters, and repair drywall. My adjuster was Mr. Pickett. He walked me through everything. Everything was done in a timely manor. They delivered everything and the clean up was phenomenal.

These are wonderful people we had Michael Sooter as our personal private claims adjustor when our insurance adjustor missed a lot of hail damage. The work was fast and really good the workers were wonderful also I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Very dependable, hard working group of people who get things done as promised with no hassle. Excellent customer service. Recommend them highly for big projects.

We were very happy with Fortec Building Group LLC. They put a new roof and siding on our home They are professional and keep you informed, the job was done on time as promised, the workers experienced and detail oriented. They did an excellent job and left the area nice and clean. The work was done exactly how we wanted. We would defiantly recommend Fortec Building Group LLC to our family and friends.

prompt and high quality products used . fast installation and cleaned up the site soon after completion. Mike Sooter was the representative of the company and he kept in constant touch almost everyday since the contract was signed. they don't just meet customer expectations they believe in customer delight. very happy with my choice

I called Fortec after a landscaping company damaged my siding. My siding had been replaced a few years back from hail damage and was in great condition until the landscaping company destroyed it with a bulldozer while putting in my brick paver patio. Because of what happened with my landscaper, I wanted to be there to see Fortec do the work. However, a meeting came up and I was unable to do so. When I got home from work that day, not only was the work done to the way I wanted(as few visible seems as possible) but they even capped my my back door frames with extra sheeting that they had. Any contractor would've left the extra sheeting, and left. Fortec went above and beyond.

From start to finish, their work exemplifies craftsmanship. I have a raised ranch. The work entailed replacing siding and gutters. This work was done in two days. The crew doesn't know the meaning of a break. Their break was an 1/2 hour lunch. The work day is 10 to 12 hours. From salesmanship of quoting the job to scheduler and the foreman on the job, everybody is working. A great group to work with informed me when this project would start, and when it would be completed and it was to the day. When they were finished , the only thing that changed was that my wife and I were looking at a new house. The crew work clean no debris left behind. I would definitely give this company a higher rating, but the rate chart only goes to 5. We were very impressed with the quality, speed and determination. Very professional. This company brings back faith in talking and working with contractors. This company doesn't follow a rule book because they are family and treat us like family. This crew is experience plus. Everyone knows what has to be done. If you are considering replacing siding, you only need to call this company. No one will match their competitive pricing with the integrity and professionalism involved to have a very, very, more than satisfied customer.

Quick and efficient. A great value for the money. From start to finish they did what they said they would do.

LOOK NO FUTHER THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COMPANYS I HAVE EVER DELT WITH IN MY 58 YEARS ON EARTH FROM TOP TO BOTTOM THEY ARE OUTSTANDING !!!!! CAN NOT RATE THEM ANY HIGHER OR I WOULD THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY AND THE WORK THEY DO IS LIKE THEY WOULD DO AT THERE OWN HOME!!!

Called them for roofing and because we were so impressed with the price , professionalism, quality of work and speed, we contracted for siding and gutters also.

professional, fairly priced , quick and efficient. Great experience from the initial visit to quote the job until the very end of the project. This experience led us to add to the project new siding and gutters.

Fortec Building Group Re-sided my whole home and garage and put a new roof on my house. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful job they did. They worked professionally, made my house look like new and did a wonderful job cleaning everything up, you never knew they were there. We can highly recommend Fortec to everyone if you want a professional job done in a timely manner. Thank you Fortec! Lou, Sue Maurizi 854 Princeton Ave Matteson IL 60443

Honest approach to estimating the job. At first glance they were the highest of 3 estimates, but after review and discussion, they guaranteed no "extra charges" regardless of what was found post-tear off. Ultimately they had to replace every piece of wood due to warping or water-damage - and still honored their quote. I appreciated their integrity and excellent workmanship. Completed the job in 2 days (2,600 sq ft) and were neat and efficient throughout the project. Highly recommended!

They did a wonderful job and the communication was A+
