I have been building fences and decks and other backyard projects since 1999, and have always been proud to be honest, upfront, and forthright with my customers. I also am a owner/builder so I do not just own the company but I am also the person you see every day at your home constructing your project. This is much different then hiring a company that then just sends a hourly crew to come install your project. Scott was ideal to work with. He took the time to explain in advance the process as a whole and what to expect. The craftsmanship was excellent and well thought out. During the demo, he discovered an issue that would affect the neighbor's fence and gate. He took the time to discuss with myself and the neighbor what options could be used to address the issue. His final solution went above and beyond to ensure there was no negative impact. There were a couple of issues with the house against which he was setting the fence (walls not quite vertical, dealing with shingles) that he handled in a way that made them look great and professional. I would definitely recommend Forthright Fence to anybody seeking experience, professional installation of a fence.

Scott Sansom owner and operator of Forthright Outdoor Craftsman did a great job of rebuilding my fence. He is very meticulous about his work. Everything was done exactly to my liking. Scott is very trustworthy when he tells you he will be there he keeps his word. The work was started early and finished on time. The redwood fence is beautiful and he also did a very good clean up job as well. It was a pleasure to see a real professional and craftsman with outstanding character complete a job. . I would wholeheartedly recommend Forthright Outdoor Craftsman for any fencing or decking project you may have.
