I was assured they would protect my plants...not so much. They threw a lot of debris on my yard and I have a lot of dead grass because of that. They did not clean out the gutters and when it rains I have asphalt and nails around the downspouts. I have always had problems with contractors and Fortress was no exception. If you hire them just be aware that they need supervision.

I contacted Fortress Home Improvement to repair a leaky roof. They made temporary repairs to the roof and concluded that the entire roof would need to be replaced. I consulted a second opinion and that opinion reinforced Fortress Home Improvement's conclusion that my roof would need to be replaced. I ultimately ended up going with the second opinion however, to replace the roof because I felt that (although the second bid came in slightly higher) I was getting a higher quality finished product with a couple of additional things (i.e., swamp cooler removal, venting) that were not included in Fortress's estmiate.
