How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because We are a family- owned and operated company since 1978. Our founder, Bob Fossati was the kind of man who gave back to his community and taught many young plumbers the importance of taking pride in your work, pride in yourself and “doing it right the first time..

We started in this industry in 1978.

We describe our business as Family owned and operated

I hired this company which cost me $236.00 to replace a cartridge n an existing faucet. The repairman told me I could replace the cartridge which he had or install a new faucet. I chose the repair. Eight months after the new cartridge was replaced the handle sticks in the upright position and I have to wiggle the faucet, fearing breakage, to stop the water flow. Fossati Plumbing told me their warranty is only good for 6 months. The cartridge was either the wrong part of installing incorrectly. I would never hire them again.

Review by Jacob B. in Pawling, NY
Project: Install, Repair or Replace Plumbing or Fixtures
They recommended replacing hot water heater due to anode rotten egg smell. They installed a $1200 commercial unit for a 2bdr residential guest house. They did not remove the anode in the new unit and in 4 weeks the house hot water was smelling again. There was no problem with cold water. They refused to refund the money and recommended additional expense of installing carbon filter (which per research does not work on microorganism). I hired a different plumber and installed a new hot water heater. Its frustrating when a plumber identifies a problem and then push an expensive product without anticipating that the problem will return. Sad story and pathetic customer service.
Response by Fossati Plumbing & Heating, LLC: Hi Jacob, We are terribly disappointed your were not satisfied with our services. Being a family owned business we pride ourselves on customer service! We will be reaching out to you shortly. Thanks, Debi Fossati
