"Steps on the separated deck were being replaced due to rotten wood and as safe to prevent injury. Blocked off steps because I decided to install Trex boards instead of wood. I completed 9/12 and on 9/11 I completed painting spindles of which I was not supposed to paint in the first place. Didn't know about vinyl until I read the review, I shall fix that issue if she will let me. Staining wood was not in the contract. I shall check for all of those rough edges mentioned and smooth them. Work was slow but not subpar. I replaced three steps on side of the house off the garage that were rotten (didn't charge). 2x4 board was bent from the weather and I thought perfect curl for the handrail(my bag) shall replace. All she had to do was say She didn't like it. Those extra things I did was to make up for being so slow in completing the deck I added a tabletop in a corner of the deck to place flowers on, I best check it for rough edges. I was thinking of covering it with vinyl to ensure she has years of service from it; I will make sure I glue it to the top and sides so there is no roughness. Hopefully, she will enjoy her deck for years to come now that what she paid for is complete. I wanted to complete the lower deck but since she feels my work is subpar I don't guess I will be able to do it for her. Bathroom vinyl was glued down and trim applied. Replaced curbed handrail with trex board.Steps I had blocked off on lower deck was done with trex boards so no treatment would be needed and life expected to be 25years before needing replacement. Only pressure washing will be needed for steps and deck which she says she is very pleased with and just loves it. She still owes me for staining spindles and 2 gals. of stain of which she signed showing she owes me. We may have to settle this in court."
