Foundation 1

We hired them in 2020 to repair our foundation. It was an extensive repair and took over 2 weeks which we expected. During the digging they hit our main waterline and cut it in half. Instead of repairing it properly, they used pvc pipe and shark bites underground all unbeknown to us that they were doing a shoddy job of that. Now 4 years later the waterline broke again all because of the improper way they repaired it to begin with. We contacted them and of course are backpedaling and blaming the poor work on their previous employees, obviously integrity is Not something they believe in. The plumbing company we hired to repair even called Foundation 1 and told them it was repaired improperly and certainly not to code. This repair resulted in digging down 4 feet and out 20 feet and not only destroying our yard but the cost is just shy of $3000. We already Spent $43,000 for the foundation repair and it's a real shame they as a professional company won't agree to pay for this, I his was their employees who damaged it. BEWARE before using them that this is the way they will treat you.

HIRED IN JANUARY 2021 TO RAISE AND STABILIZE FOUNDATION WITH STRATOS PIERS. PROMISED A LIFETIME WARRANTY CALLED NOVEMBER 2023 AS HOUSE WAS SETTLING. THEY SENT INSPECTOR AND HE SAID THEY WOULD REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY. I TRIED TO CONTACT INSPECTOR TO SCHEDULE REPAIR, HE DIDNT RESPOND TO EMAIL OR CALLS. YESTERDAY I RECEIVED EMAIL FROM F1 OFFICE SAYING THEY WEREN'T RESPONSIBLE SINCE THEY HAD BEEN SOLD. AND AS NEW COMPANY LLC DIDN'T ASSUME WARRANTY. WHEN I GOOGLED F1 FOUNDATION I FOUND 3 DIFFERENT SITES OPERATING AS F1 foundation. Seems they are running shell game. I would Highly Suggest no one uses any F1 foundation company!

The work was ok for the most part. Clean up .... Dirt was not hauled in, leveling out dirt was bad. They left wooden stakes in the ground, retaining tuck pointing is cracking and looks like ..... Have called 3 times, billy was out and seen the work. Not a happy customer. There are many issues that need addressed and nothing has been done..have many photos of how it was left. I spent good money and left my house looking like ... just be careful using them. Make sure you get your area fixed the way you want.

The company is timely, explains in detail what needs to be done, answers your questions, and they do very high-quality work. They warranty their fix for the life of the structure. The basement wall had bowed in which allowed not oniy water flowing in but also mud across the entire basement floor. They straightened the wall, installed DuraDry Exterior Load Reduction System on the exterior foundation wall, and installed the Strong Arm Wall Brace System along interior foundation wall. also a new footing drain along the exterior.side. And replaced the old sump pump with a new commercial-grade Sump Pump system. I'm all set for the spring rains to come.

Very professional, carefully done, the price was fair. They cleaned and removed all left over material. The weather made the project a little longer. Every worker did their part to the best of their knowledge, we were pleased and surely we'll hire the same company for other pprojects.

The driveway is very well done, very professional. They know what they are doing. They went above and beyond with my project. They stabilized my mailbox and they leveled my porch and also took out a semi-permanent basketball pole. I love my driveway!

I was dreading this project but Foundation 1 made the process of having piers installed and raising the house's foundation much easier. Dave called several times to make sure I understood the process, came to the house a second time to show me what would be done and answer any other questions I had, and kept in contact while the work was being done to make sure that I was happy with the process. Carlos and his team were friendly, professional and hardworking. I am very pleased with the work they did, the way they kept to the timeline/schedule in spite of having to do additional piers, and the way they cleaned up after the project. Thanks.

The workers really got down to business and got the whole project done in a day and a half! Carlos Lopez, the head of the group that was there was very knowledgeable. I asked him about other problems with my house. He seemed knowledgeable about the solutions for them and recommended a specialist as well. Great job!

I would recommend Foundation 1 without reservation. Dave, Gary, Thom and their crew did an outstanding job, under somewhat difficult circumstances. Only a couple of hours after a record-breaking 4-inch rain, they arrived per their appointment to repair two below-grade rooms which have had increasing leaks. They removed wall paneling and installed steel beams to straighten the walls, which were being pushed in by the heavy, wet clay soil from outside. They also dug down 7 feet outside to waterproof the walls and install new drains. They also installed supports to keep the hill from sliding down further toward the house. Their foreman, Billy, did an outstanding job directing his crew and is to be commended for his attention to detail. His crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up before leaving. I was pleased that he made sure his crew stayed hydrated during the hot and humid weather. He made sure we understood what the job entailed. Foundation 1 was selected from four companies interviewed and the tipping point was their suggestion to use a French drain already on the site instead of adding another sump pump. The job was estimated to take four days to complete and was done in three and one-half days, in spite of heat, humidity, and the heavy, wet clay that passes for soil in Johnson County. Total cost did not exceed the estimate, as we experienced with "hidden"charges in the small print" from a company we recently used to replace an aging and broken septic system. They are a Five-Star Company, Plus!

They were very professional and left the worksite clean. They even waited out a thunderstorm in their truck for an hour before they were able to start the job

I needed a set of steps, 30' walkway, and a stoop raised. The steps was raised as far as it could go; but not to the original position, the walkway was raised, and the stoop was leveled; but not back against foundation. I spent a lot of money not to get a completed job. I am sure they did the best they could; but now I have to do more work and spand more money to get the job completed.
