Groundworks

This was my experience with Groundworks Foundation Consultation. Beau Roper arrived at our property on time, introduced himself politely, and gave us a quick overview of what to expect — how long things would take and when we'd get the report back. We walked the property together so I could point out any issues and he could ask questions. He then got to work, explaining that the inspection would take about an hour to an hour and a half since he needed to be thorough and photograph everything on the property. We ran some errands and came back just as he was finishing up. He walked us through everything he'd done and made sure my wife felt comfortable with the findings before leaving the property clean and orderly. Job was completed in 1 day for 9 piers. Not the cheapest but their warranty is not like no others. Only 4 stars (should be 4.5) due to leaving the area messy. I know it was very modded and it was difficult to leave things as they were.

The foundation crew Tim M., Mike B. and Tyler W. kept me informed of the entire project and how it worked. They drove the stabllizers down as much aas 39 feet in some areas. Did a great job of limiting foliage removeral and cleaned up the entire work area once they completed their work which was a day and a half to placed 10 piers I would request this crew again if ever needed foundation work Jim Smith

Our inspector, William Brunson, did a great job of explaining every little detail of the foundation issue. He is very professional, kind and really cares about his customers. I would and will recommend Groundworks.

Aja showed up and was extremely nice and professional. Did a thorough inspection of our foundation. Very pleased with my experience.

The crew led by Brandon G arrived early and got to work right away. Jefferson and Fransisco worked hard and got the jacks in place quickly. I really like this foundation support method way more than other cheaper and less reliable leveling solutions. Very professional and got it done quickly and well.

Derrick F, Ian J, and Thomas N, did a great job communicating with me on everything that was going to happen during each phase of the repair. I have to admit, I was not impressed with the communication with the initial process of scheduling. They could use some help in ensuring communication lines are open with the consumer!! As far as the crew that completes the project A++!! I was very impressed with their work ethic as well as enthusiasm in completing the job in a timely manner!!

When we purchased our home in 2017, there was already a crack across the top 2 segments of the driveway where that area had sunk quite a bit. Besides the cosmetic issue, we felt this subsidence was also a tripping hazard. After researching online and using Angi, I found GROUNDWORKS (formerly FSS: Foundation Support Specialists) who came out to give an estimate. Ricardo showed up on time with advanced warning of his ETA. He was thorough and left me with a color-coded bid. Some of the driveway and sidewalk leading to the front door were going to be lifted, and some parts stabilized using the foam injection method. Even though I received bids from 2 other companies, I chose GROUNDWORKS for their 5-year warranty and mid-level pricing. All companies were 4.5 stars or higher on both Google and Angi. On the job day, they arrived on time. The job was completed in about 2 hours. I am very happy with the results.

Matt Wasiele came out to help us. Incredibly informative, friendly, and very professional. We signed a contract for repair and paid a down payment, but later decided it wasn’t the right time. The company was very understanding and quick with the refund! Definitely going to keep them in mind for the future.

I had some settling issues with my foundation, and Jacob from FSS did a thorough evaluation of the problem. I had already had six different companies come by, so I was getting familiar with the routine. What impressed me about the FSS solution was that they could actually stabilize the foundation, putting it on piers that would not shift in the future, unlike the other companies. When the installation crew arrived (Thomas, Timothy and Kennen), they brought along some really impressive galvanized steel hardware. The installation crew was clean and very meticulous about the details, making sure everything was installed correctly. After the foundation was stabilized and leveled, another crew came to do a polyfoam injection under the foundation to fill the air gap left by leveling the foundation. This way the entire foundation is supported, and not resting just on the edges. Overall, I was very pleased with the work. They were certainly not the cheapest, but then, you often get what you pay for.

John, Nick, Mike and Cale came by to work on leveling my house. They were so friendly. They cleaned everything up after they finished the job and it looked so clean. They were done in 2.5 days and did such an amazing job

If I could give a ZERO I would. FSS repairs and lifts concrete. We have a sidewalk in front off of the driveway. FSS came out and said they do not come out unless it's for a $2500. minimum. We had them lift the sidewalk and repair cracks in the driveway. First scheduled day and time it was raining. Guy came out anyway and said he couldn't do the work with the rain. Rescheduled time and it was raining again. Came out anyway and worked on the areas we had them here for. Like I said it was raining. The gentlemen continued to work and said it will be great. It's not great and now the sidewalk is higher than the porch. My father is 90 years old and can barely walk. We were worried about him tripping. Now that it has raised up so high there is now a drop off. We are going to have to spend more money to have it all broken up and re-poured concrete. I do not recommend FSS for anything. Manager came out and said he would have it fixed and did not. They constantly asked me not to post this review.

Great service, Steele J was my specialist. He went above and beyond with addressing my homes foundation issues, and was able to explain the entire process. Did not have a pushy sells tactic and was able to work with my budget. *Bonus* He was super friendly with my dogs and I was able to keep them out while he was here!

I had Austin Green and Jason Dudley inspect and provide a estimate for foundation repair and void fill around my pool. They are both very good at their jobs and explained everything that needed to be done in very precise manner. I would highly recommend them with no hesitation

The crew did an outstanding job; Christopher Garcia, Spencer Jones, Joe Rangel and Francisco Rivas. They were very professional and did a great job of keeping me informed during the project. I wish I could hire this crew for every type of repair needed with my house.

Level existing concrete driveway I can't say enough good things, from the front office to the field technicians. Justin and Austin were polite, very informative and skilled at what they did. We couldn't be happier with the end result. They will be highly recommended. Ronnie and Linda
