Core Improve

Would not use. Too long to type. Just find another company refurbish or stain deck. This is an update to previous post. After paying over 12k to have redecking done the stain wore off by the next spring all over deck .Core Improve( Roman), offered to restain (only) adding another $750 to my cost. Presently, February 2026, the stain is also wearing through all over the deck again. Hard to believe after spending 13k wouldn't you think ? Contacted core Improve 2/10/26 and was told basically tough luck and " not to contact them again". I cannot state strongly enough "do not employ Core Improve" for any decking job you are contemplating. If you have question feel free to contact me and I will go into further detail.

Do not hire this company. They operate under multiple names, and do not provide the services they quote. I paid 240 for a gutter cleaning. They did not clean the upper layers of my gutters (I have two levels), and what they did was literally a 10-minute blower treatment where they blew the gutter junk into the yard. No cleanup. Bottom line, for a rate of 1400/hour, I would expect a heck of a lot more than a partial job. DO NOT HIRE THEM. Literally anyone else will do a better job.

When I contacted this business it was for gutter cleaning. They provided a quote of $120. I accepted this as I felt it was a fair price to clean the gutters. I hired them on May 17th and on Fathers day it finally rained and I found out my downspouts were clogged. I called and tried to contact and resolve via phone but to no avail. I was told I should have read the fine print in the estimate for downspout cleaning. I was never offered any service other than **Gutter Cleaning** which I assumed meant the gutter system. I spoke to the manager and said I did not want a refund and provided a number of options for resolution, none of which he wanted to take. I am very disappointed in the customer service, awareness of services offered, and problem resolution. I would 100% NOT recommend this company for anything as they will attempt to use any technical item to get out of actually doing a good job. Prior to the gentlemen who cleaned my gutters left, I asked him 3 times if a particular downspout elbow was clean and he assured me it was when 30 days later I find out it actually was not. I am not some angry man raving here, just sharing a frustrating and disappointing story.

Really great small business, fast, well done, well priced, polite employees. Highly recommend.

Overall a decent company but the charge against work done wasn't commensurate. Also does not go by liner square footage.
