Our Experience with Four Seasons Cottage and Home Services included the following problems: 1. Double Charging: Four Seasons double-charged us on multiple occasions. After alerting the owner he assured us the problem was fixed, on multiple occasions, yet we continued to see double-billing. 2. Lawsuit: When Four Seasons double-billed us again, after claiming they resolved the issue, we contacted the owner to correct his records. He did not. Months passed. They then chose to take us to small claims court over the $37 difference. 3. Non-performance: While engaged in a mowing contract with Four Seasons, we contacted the owners because the grass had not been mowed in several weeks. They canceled on us without notice saying they were unable to keep people employed to do the work. 4. Cancellation Without Notice: While engaged in a snow removal contract with Four Seasons, they canceled, again without notice, during the winter season, making it difficult to find a replacement. COMMERCIAL WORK: Most of our experience was as a residential client. However, we also worked with Four Seasons through a commercial project. Throughout most of these issues, we tried to remain positive. We even gave Four Seasons the benefit of the doubt, helping them obtain multiple contracts with our Home Owners Association. One project included the replacement of large rocks in our drainage runoff. Unfortunately, many homeowners complained the new stones put in place and landscaping work done by Four Seasons resulted in many problems. Four Seasons did not fix the problems. After all this, Four Seasons did not fix the billing problem and took us to court because we asked them to fix the problem and refused to pay the last duplicate charge. At that point, we decided to move on. Our time and sanity are worth more than the money he claims we owed him so we paid more than we owed. Given these facts, it is our opinion that Four Seasons practices unethical business. Instead of Four Seasons Landscaping, please consider these more reputable local businesses, with excellent customer reviews - both residential and commercial: 1. Landscape Design Services 2.
