Hired Ryan and his team to replace a non-working French drain and tie in the gutter downspouts to the drainage system. His team did a great job and the finished product looks amazing, the system works great and the front yard is no longer a swimming pool. They got the work done in a couple of days and the price was very reasonable. He communicated with us throughout the process and the whole thing was as smooth as you could hope.

Ryan and his guys came in and did an excellent job for me. Everything was on schedule and budget. Quality of work is excellent.

I invited two companies to install a French drain. Ryan surveyed my property to determine the source of my standing water. He noted water draining from my crawl space over the top of the foundation. He located a spring that was feeding water into my crawl space! The other person failed to spot the hazard threatening my house. The spring continues to flow from the drain he installed!

Fox Island Excavation did our clearing for our new home site. They gave great input ideas and were very clear in what they were doing and fees they were charging. We had them come back and do some additional drainage work for us too, they worked with our engineer and projects were done in a timely manner and very professional!!

I found their quote to be quite reasonable and the work they did went above and beyond my expectations for the project!

They are very efficient and professional . Great at communication, and timely. Recommended another contractor for the Asphalt as they didn't do that. Both were reasonably priced and did a great job.

They were very prompt and had excellent customer service. They worked with my schedule to come out and look at what we needed done. I was given my estimate right away. And the price seemed very reasonable. They were able to complete my project in a couple of days and it looks great. They were also able to start work right away after we told them that we would like to hire them. The main reason i hired them was to correct some drainage issues I was having with my downspout drains. I haven't been able see how well the new system works but based off of the design and work performed I have no doubt it will be much better then what I had previously.

Job: backyard drainage and some resloping. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt as well as very friendly. I was very happy with their work, especially when others told me either they wouldn't touch the job or couldn't even check out my problem for over 2 months. Only reason it's not a full 5 star is because I won't know for sure if it works as well as hoped until it starts raining but I am very confident.

Going into this We got 3 bids and had a budget in mind. We are so glad that we chose Fox Island Excavation! Not only were they competitive with their prices, their timeline for completion was the best of all our bids and most importantly they worked within our budget. They were able to remove some EXTREMELY LARGE old tree trunks, down some trees, dig out a side hill and slope and level everything we needed. Our property has truly transformed and we couldn't be happier! We would recommend them to all our family, friends and neighbors!

I had them re-grade our property and add a 2'' sub-base for a 200 sq ft building. We initially asked for him to quote us on a lot more to see if we could find some room in our budget - and they came through with everything we asked for. Ryan was great - solid local business that cares about the quality of their work. What we got was exactly what we asked for. I would stop looking and hire these guys 100% of the time.
