Frank Mattison Landscape

I was looking for a landscaper in March to replace my old beat up 40 year old lawn. It was my good fortune to find Frank Mattison on the internet. After I called them Renee showed up to talk to me about what I wanted done, to take her pictures and her measurements. Then I told her what my budget was and her and Frank worked with me to meet an agreed upon price that we both could live with. I did not want the project started until after the rains were having subsided. His work crew with Martin as the leader showed up on 24 April and the job was completed on 27 April. The job consisted of pulling up the old lawn, putting in a new drip system removing a front yard tree and laying down two shades of rock. The colors they showed me offset each other perfectly and also worked well with the paint job on our house. Martin and the two other workers did a fine job and were very helpful when I had questions about what was being done and how it would fit into the plan I had outlined to Renee. Hard workers, knew their job and always worried about not causing harm to the areas that were not being redone. The end result was a great looking front yard and another happy customer.

I hired Frank and his crew to turn a weed filled front yard into a desert landscape. He contacted me quickly, went and took photos, emailed an estimate, and began work. Frank and company were in-between jobs and as time permitted, they finished my yard. Overall, I was pleased and have hired the company to maintain the yard beginning in September. I'd like to have met him in person.

I asked to move and repair Sprinkler system front and back. I ended up with a patio (Beautiful patio), and now both sprinkling systems are off line. Since I went with a patio, I asked for two 3" tube under all the "new" walkways for their planters. I found two 1/2" pipes instead, and too short to reach under the new wall... Note, when my existing wall man starting working along side on a series of $500.00 jobs reminded me that I called Frank for Sprinklers... My time is too short and patio looks great so far, for the most part...

Was very pleased with the work ethics of his workers. Because of the drought, I was changing from grass to a desert type landscape with decomposed granite. They had to take up the grass and lay down the decomposed granite and place new drip lines to the trees. Frank's price was reasonable, and he was very helpful in answering whatever question I had. I would recommend his company.

The backyard sod installation and sprinkler system was done quickly and we are very happy with the end results. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of work. Frank is great. Very professional, responsive and fair. His rates are very good and his work is excellent.

Frank was very patient in the beginning when we were unsure of how we wanted to design the front yard, and had many knowledgeable suggestions. As soon as we decided, he worked quickly to get it done for us. He knew exactly what kind of irrigation to use for what plant/section, and everything looks great and is super easy for us maintain. Even when there was a mix up problem with some rock/decomposed granite, he went above and beyond to make everything right. We are very satisfied with his service and love the yard.

Frank is so knowledgeable about landscaping and sprinkler systems and has no problem sharing his knowledge. The work was completed in the same day of appointment. His Foreman Martine fixed a leaky valve and installed a check valve on the sprinkler system as I was having some water hammer problems with the sprinkler system. Will definitely contact again for future upgrades and work.... Foreman Martine was super nice and efficient.

They responded to my call the same day. Only took a lil more than an hour for them to show up after explaining the initial problem. We had a swamp in our backyard do to a leak from over grown roots in the sprinkler valve box, he was able to dig out the water, moss/fungus.and finally turn off the valve that we've been trying to do forever it seems. Very satisfied, will be hiring them again to reroute the piping & valve box next summer.

Too expensive for average work, never came back to fix problem areas. Never gave me my change ($50) and I eventually had to hire someone else to fix what I had paid him to do.

They did pre-check on our yard and provided a competitive price with pro advice which met our needs. They were very patient with our changing of the thoughts about the landscaping. We were satisfied with what they did and met our expectation very well. They finished the work on time which was great.

frank was great ! they did a fabulous job and i am very happy with the results. i have already recommended him to three other people and the job wasn't even complete yet!

Frank is an expert at landscaping in our high desert community. He knows what works and what doesn't, and has the best advice for updating an old landscape.
