H&L Pool Service

Does not show up on time, does not call if he cannot make it. Increased the price to $120. Only showed up 2 twice for the month of April. Good thing I have a camera. But communication. Left my pool with Algae. Filter all green. Pool all green.

BEWARE: I hired Hector for weekly pool maintenance. He said he would make my pool look better than it did, but it already looked great. Service was scheduled and he showed up the first week but not the next week. When I asked him why he didn;t show up, he said he would come the next day, which he did. He came on Feb. 16 and did not clean the pool completely, said it would have to wait until the following week. On Apr. 2, I noticed a build up of dirt on the side of the pool, turned out to be algae. He said it was dirt but it was growing, definitely not dirt. On Apr 15, he left the pool dirty after service. He said it was due to wind but there was literally no wind that day. He cleaned my filter on May 13, which I paid for above the monthly fee. Hector came out for pool service on Jun. 2, on Jun. 4, my pool was full of algae. The weather was warm and the filter was only running for 8 hours at night, should have been 10-14 hours during the day. He came out on Jun. 5 to clean the pool, he said he needed to clean the filter again but I told him I wasn;t paying him to clean my filter again because the algae was due to him not cleaning the pool or administering chemicals properly. The pool was unable to use and it is prime pool time here in Las Vegas. He texted me on Jun. 8 asking if I still wanted pool service. I said yes and asked why he asked me. He said I had not paid him for the month but I paid him for June on May 31st. After I sent a picture of the payment, he replied: sorry, wrong person. He came for service on Jun. 9. I was having family come in for the weekend, so I wanted to be sure the pool would be ready to enjoy, so I brought in a different company to check the chemicals and it did not have enough chlorine. When I texted Hector and told him that I was unhappy with his service and wanted a refund for half the month, he did not respond. I texted him again 2 days later and he said that since he had serviced my pool for two weeks and did not respond to my request for a refund of half the month. When I told him I had someone else come out to fix his mistakes, he asked what mistakes and I sent him a picture of my pool looking like a swamp, he did not respond. I texted him on June 13th, no response. I texted him early this morning again (June 15th), no response. He is unprofessional and does not understand filtration and chemicals. Do not hire this company for pool service, you will regret it, as I do.

My previous pool man disappeared without warning and I was looking for a replacement as my pool was developing some serious algae. Hector Diaz called to say he would be over in about 20-30 minutes. He arrived in 15, polite and not pushy, and masked. After seeing him work on the pool It was an easy decision for me to hire him immediately. When he finished, my pool looked fantastic! We set up a weekly schedule and I couldn't be happier! I'd recommend Hector in a heartbeat.

Did an excellent job at an excellent price. Showed up on time, did exactly as promised in a clean and professional way. I could not have been any more pleased.

Hector Diaz was courteous, prompt, and did great work. My pool looks fantastic.

He comes on time and always answers the phone.
