We used Frederick & Son for all the excavation work for our new home including site prep, water, gas and sewer lines, and final grade. We recently had them come back to install our driveway and sidewalk and have been amazed at their professionalism and quality of work. They are reliable and efficient and very reasonable. Great company to work with!

I had a gas line leak detected at my meter right before Christmas and had to scramble to get the repair done. I contacted Frederick & Son after getting a number of other quotes which were all over the place in price. They responded to my inquiry promptly and were able to come and estimate the work and provide me with a detailed quote at a price that I considered very fair. Despite the busy holiday season, they were able to fit me into their schedule quickly and came out to do the work. They worked efficiently and got the job done in a few hours without any issues. Overall, I was very satisfied and would recommend Frederick & Son to anyone seeking similar work.

Outstanding service. The local gas company detected a faulty pipe coming into the house. They turned off the gas, and said we needed a D.O.T certified plumber to do the work. Within 24 hours from our first call to Frederick and Son, the line was replaced to the curb, and the gas is back on. They are hardworking, polite, and professional. Considering the work that needed to be done, their bid was a lot less than we were expecting.

We had a fuel oil tank that was leaking badly to the point where we lost our oil. As a result, our home was without heat. Chance Frederick called us from the inquiry we sent to Home Advisor and came out to look at the tank Sunday (yesterday). He said he could get to us on Tuesday however reworked his schedule for Monday (today) and arrived at our house at 9 AM as promised with a new 500 gallon aboveground tank along with a crew of four and a mini excavator. They removed the old tank (where trees were in the way) and was not easy to get to, levelled the area for the new tank and installed it with 3 piping connections and vent in less than two hours. This also enabled me to get oil in the afternoon and with all of that said, our house is nice and warm. I would hire Chance anytime. His price was very fair. Thank you Chance for the great job and I need to create more work for you! If you are looking for excavation, pipe line work,, this is the place to go. Oh, and one more thing...he did this with his company 50 miles from my home!

Chance and his crew excavated my home on three sides to the footer, cleaned, sealed, and insulated the foundation, installed a french drain and replaced the conductor pipes for the downspouts on the house. I have hired many contractors in my life as a homeowner, Chance and his crew stand out as an island of excellence. They arrived each day at the time I was told, and each day as they left I was updated as to their progress and what to expect the next day. The job was left clean and tidy every day and at the end of the project. I will have Frederick Gas Line and Excavating back in the spring to do additional work for me. I have already recommended Chance to a good friend and will recommend him without reservation in the future. They are trustworthy, prompt and very professional.

These guys are good at what they do! They are very knowledgeable and work well together. I was also impressed with the owner, Chance, in dealing with us even before we chose their company. He is very considerate, responsive to questions, and fair. We've never had any work like this done before, and heard it can be a nightmare, but I feel like they made it a good experience for us! We appreciate their hard work and highly recommend them.

I could recommend this company to anybody

I was looking for someone to reshape a hillside in our yard . 150 ft. long and 70 ft. up to the road . Water run off and erosion had left us with a cliff. I filled out the request and received an e-mail within a half hour . Chance Fredrick and Mike Sperdute assembled a game plan and project started 3 days later . Withih 2 1/2 days of start , the cliff was transformed to a gradual grade by filling , recutting the angle , ditching , tree removal , seeding and straw matting . This is a busy country road and since they started , we have had a lot of sightseers and even a few picture takers . With project completed , they exceeded our expectations. In conjunction with North Beaver Contracting , these guys helped with ideas and I relied on them for the right grow media . Quality , Service , and Professionalism . To add to that a reasonable price . If you are looking for the above , you won't be disappointed . Thanks to all and Home Advisor.
