"There was not a hourly schedule for this job. I leave my house at 7am everyday. Chase material and would sit in traffic getting to her house. I would not take a break and eat a sandwich for 15 min for lunch. But she still complained. She would talk to me and tell me what a good job we were doing daily. Everything was great until she started adding work not covered in contract and when I asked for material costs she refused to pay. Though contracted. So I stopped trying to please her for free and offered to write another contract for the additional work. At this point she left me several irate messages while I was walking my dog one evening. I asked my son to go talk to her in person, since she had told me that she liked him, she kicked him off property and threaten to call police. I blocked her number and will take a loss rather than be treated in this manner.. This is my first complaint in 30 years. She still owes $759 in material she refuses to pay. I obviously stopped work. Her last message was that I misunderstood and everything we contracted was not what she wanted all she wanted was her existing deck trimmed out. This is not what she contracted me for, all trim work was an addition and then she wanted it to continue for free."
